What You Can Expect

  Ming Tombs

  Your guide will pick you up at your hotel between 07:30am-08:30am, then drive to your first destination: the Ming Tombs. The Tombs are located at the foot of Tianshou Mountain, 50 kilometers (31 miles) from Beijing downtown. The Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs and you will visit, among others, the largest and best preserved of these, Changling.

  Jade Carving Factory

  After visiting the Ming Tombs, you will enjoy a short visit to a Jade Carving Factory. Jade carving is a famous and special Chinese product, a blend of the expert skill and traditional Chinese cultures.

  Lunch

  Lunch will be arranged at a traditional restaurant, with local Chinese food.

  Badaling Great Wall

  After lunch and a short rest you will head to the highlight of this full day Beijing tour - the Badaling Great Wall. It is the most famous, best-preserved and the first section opened to public. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes about 2 hours. The option to travel by cable car is available.

  National Stadium

  Head back to downtown Beijing and drive by the Olympic Green, having a distant view of both the 'Bird Nest' National Stadium and the 'Water Cube' National Aquatics Center. Your guide will transfer you back to your hotel at about 17:00pm.
