Tiananmen Square
The tour begins with a visit to Tian'anmen Square, which is the largest city square in the world. It was named after the Tiananmen, or Gate of Heavenly Peace, which is situated to the north and separates the square from the Forbidden City. The square has been the site of several key events in Chinese history, and is surrounded by museums, government buildings, and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.

Forbidden City
Next stop is the Forbidden City, which was home to 24 Chinese emperors from 1368-1911.This is a city within a city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest and the best-preserved ancient imperial architecture complex in the world. It now houses exhibitions, both permanent and temporary, of the important treasures of ancient China.

Lunch will be at the Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant, where you can enjoy the local Chinese food.

Temple of Heaven
After have a Chinese lunch , you will visit the Temple of Heaven where Ming and Qing emperors performed solemn rituals for bountiful harvests.

Day 3 Beijing

Badaling Great Wall
You’ll start out today at the Badaling section of the Great Wall. You can walk along the wall, through the watch towers, and enjoy superb views. The wall snakes across the hilly terrain. You can choose to return by cable car or walk down the wall.

Today’s lunch will be at Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant, which specializes in farmhouse dishes and features rainbow trout, sturgeon, and salmon.

Bird Nest and Water Cube
In the afternoon, your guide will escort you to visit Bird's Nest and Water Cube of the National Olympic Stadiums.

Dinner
Dinner will be a special treat of roasted Beijing duck at the Fangzhuang branch of Quanjude Restaurants.

Afterwords, you can have your own adventure.

Day 4 Beijing

Summer Palace
After breakfast, you will visit the Summer Palace. This palace is located around 12 kilometers north-west of Beijing and is as well-known as the Forbidden City. It boasts the best-preserved and largest imperial gardens in China and is one of Beijing's premier attractions.

Hutongs
Then you will get into the Hutongs, ride a bicycle around the Hutongs and visit a local family to introduce yourself,talk to them and experience their life.
