  Forbidden City

  You will then move to the legendary Forbidden City, now known as the Imperial Palace Museum. The history of the Ming and Qing dynasties is represented throughout 4 palatial halls, together with treasures from previous dynasties collected by the Ming and Qing emperors. Some tours only explore the highlights, but this excursion will give you a more in-depth visit.

  Temple of Heaven

  After a substantial lunch, you will visit the aptly named Temple of Heaven, dating back to the 15th century. Built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Temple served as the site of prayer, traditional ceremonies and sacrificial rituals and is one of Beijing’s great splendors.
