Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Activities
You will meet your local guide at airport and transfer to hotel. After checking in to your hotel for a 3-night stay, you will have free time for the rest of the day. You can opt to have a local guide help you plan your evening activities.

Day 2 Beijing
You can enjoy Peking Opera shows, feast on a roast duck dinner at the famed Quanjude Restaurant, or enjoy nightlife at pubs and bars in the Houhai and Gongti areas.

Great Wall
Today, ride to the legendary Great Wall of China and stand on its famous ramparts.

Beijing Olympic Green
On the way back, you will stop at Beijing Olympic Green, which hosted the 2008 Olympics -entrance tickets are not included.

Nanluogu Xiang
Your last stop in Beijing is Nanluogu Xiang, one of Beijing's oldest Hutongs and one of Beijing's 25 cultural and historical protection areas since 1990. Hutong is the perfect place to experience ancient Beijing.

Day 4 Beijing to Xian

Train to Xian
In the morning you will experience the world-famous China speed by taking high-speed train to Xian.

Xi’an Museum
You will Visit Xi’an Museum, a modern, well-organized museum that traces the history of Xi'an from prehistory to Qing dynasty.

Small Wild Goose Pagoda
Next up is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of ancient Xi’an.

Learning Chinese Calligraphy
Finally, you will spend some time learning Chinese calligraphy. This traditional Chinese art is not only a means of communication, but also a means of expressing a person's inner world in an aesthetic sense.

Day 5 Xian

Ancient City Wall
Take a morning stroll on the Ancient City Wall. The wall is considered, the city’s landmark, dividing it into the inner part and the outer part.

Terracotta Warriors
In the afternoon tour Xian’s archaeological wonder: 8,000 life-sized terracotta warriors and horses buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Each soldier and horse is molded in incredible detail.

Muslim Quarter
Your next stop is the Muslim Quarter, where you can have a walk or try some local snacks.

Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show
In the evening you can choose to enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Day 6 Xian to Chongqing

Chongqing, gateway to the Yangtze. Visit Ciqikou Old Town and board the cruise after dinner.

Yangtze Cruise
Your ship sails this morning. Cruise the Yangtze as it meanders through the heartland of China. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river and the facilities onboard.

Fengdu Ghost City
Today’s shore excursion is to Fengdu Ghost City.

Day 8 Chongqing

Yangtze Cruise
Cruise through the dramatic Three Gorges, beneath soaring limestone cliffs rising sheer from the water. Next, embark a small motorboat and journey through the tranquil Daning River and Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream.

Day 9 Chongqing to Yichang to Shanghai

Activities
Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Disembark at Yichang at noon. If time permits there will be optional sightseeing programs at Yichang. Transfer to Yichang airport and fly to Shanghai, China’s most modern metropolis. Optional program is cruising on the Huangpu River to see the enchanting night view of Shanghai.

Day 10 Shanghai

Activities
View the Shanghai Museum. Continue to Yuyuan Garden, a 16th century Ming period private garden/residence in the heart of Shanghai’s old Chinese quarter. Along is the local bazaar and Shanghai Old Street. Visit Former French Concession District. Stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road to experience the thrills of old and modern Shanghai A visit to silk store is included today. Tonight you can take an optional acrobatics show or enjoy night life at Xintiandi.
