  The ChimeLong Amusement Park in Zhuhai (there's several in China) carries the largest Aquarium in the world! The main Hotel overlooks the ocean and you can even catch a glimpse of Macau on the other side. Surprisingly the seafood served in several restaurants in the 3 hotels is very local Zhuhai specialty items, which itself is super famous for the seafood offerings due to the delta River/Sea region!

  We recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. Overall the experience was great - our daughter had a great time at the water park and loved ocean park. The logistics were well run and the hotel was a very smooth operation. My only complaint was the food an beverage policies. The fact that rooms only included 2 buffet breakfasts which required that we 90 RMB pay for our daughter's buffet breakfast ( she is six) seemed to short sighted to me. Her one bowl of cereal is likely the most expensive bowl of cereal ever. For a hotel that is focused on families and kids, it seems odd to that kids are not included in the breakfast buffet.
  Overall we thought the hotel was great and surpassed our expectations.

  What a fantastic place....!! Prices reasonable, amazing buffet and good size rooms.
  There are water shows to see and amazing pirate ship.. Just enough to scare me...
  There are also dolphin pond where if you stare long enough they pop up to say "Splash"
  The hotel also offers shuttle to the town centre..!!

  ok, my wife initially booked it in a hurry and got the "normal rate". I tried afterward to get a discount but the front desk guy (Tom) was really "Old School Chinese" and didn't budge even a dollar. He did upgrade the room to a higher floor to be fair, but I wanted either breakfast or some reduction. Anyway, I spent the next couple of days looking to find fault to report.
  I have to say that I couldn't. The Hotel grounds were really nice with live Dolphins in a pool out back and a viewing area in a cave-like enclosure that's marvelous.
  The 50 meter pool was crystal clear and a huge, shallow wave pool was not crowded.
  They even had a small indoor water park which was for kids and adult slides as well.
  The rooms and interior were impeccable and expected in a 5 star Hotel.
  In addition, the indoor sports facilities were modern and clean with a good sauna and steam room. Spacious lockers too.
  The only critical word is one that is common with many 5 star Hotels - that is to watch out for high prices buying anything. In this case, breakfast was NOT included and they charged 158 rmb !! That's more than $25.
  Anything there will cost exorbitant money so expect it. There are really no outside stores for food except near the circus 10 minutes walking away. The circus is also a nice show. 350 rmb are the cheaper seats.
  Overall, it gets 5 stars.

• An expensive hotel

  I travel there from Hong kong and an important tip is that traveling via Macau is a much cost and time efficient way to get to the resort.
  We were first very impressed by the grand lobby with big dophins scultures which is like 2/3 storeys high. The facilities should be 5 stars including a outdoor water park and a small indoor one， would recommend it for family with kids.
  One setback is the openimg hours for the water park is till 6:30 only and do not think its as big as the one in Guangzhou.
  They have a pool for living dophins and sea turtoise within the hotel and they are so adorable but which they should be happier staying in the wild.
  Spending a day in the amusement park call Ocean kingdom is what everyone would do staying in this hotel and by paying for another ticket, you also would be able to enjoy the circuit at evening but you Gonna miss the fireworks with time crash, so better plan well before your stay and 2 nights would be more proper.
  One problem is the price of the restaurant, the hotel is very far away from downtown without much public transportation after dawn, so you are expected to pay for very expensive meal within the hotel and add up the trip could be very expensive for a weekend family trip.
  they do provide a shuttle boat to bring you from hotel to the amusement park with a charge of 35yuan per head per way, I didn't see any kids activities/ facilities. They do have a mini-market which you found ice-cream at 60yuan each that's why giving me the impression of expensive as I do not expect to spend that money at this place.
  The services and cleaniness which I usually care most is not a problem but you will find no surprise for the price paid. since the hotel is in a huge block with almost 200rooms each floor, you may find your room really far from the lift lobby even they have 2 life lobbies.
  Overall a nice stay but it's a bit overpriced.
