• Surprisingly Good Place

  We were pleasantly surprised. The ratings for this hotel were mediocre, but we decided to try it anyway because it was 1/2 the price of other hotels nearby.
  Everything about this hotel was spot-on for us: service, food, location, price.
  The Internet was a pleasant surprise for us also.
  It seems like a hotel that is empty all of the time because people check-in, go to Macau to gamble, and never seem to reappear.
  We watched HBO also, which was a pleasant treat for those of us living on the mainland.

  The rooms have ample space to relax. They do provide with free internet which is fast, secure and effective
  All rooms have small refrigerator where you can cool your stuff, they serve apples everyday to keep you healthy
  The breakfast is just king size with almost every variety like the sausage, eggs, dry fruits, fruits, juices, milk, yoghurt and even all Chinese stuff under same roof
  The hotel has a small gymnasium where you can workout and keep your body fit to enjoy the breakfast :)
  It is located very near to Indian Kitchen so not a problem if you don't like Chinese dinner being served to you
  You can definitely try out a buffet dinner as it is one of those things which Zhuhai people love and almost everyday the restaurant is full
  Overall it is a nice experience to stay here
  Oh! Just forgot to mention, they do have a massage parlor and spa where you are welcomed to ease your days fatigue

  Wieder mal zu Besuch im Star City Hotel Zhuhai.
  Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral.
  Wenn man das Zimmer auf die falsche(Straßenseite) hat, hört man die ganze Nacht den Autoverkehr.
  Das Hotel ist ein klassisches chinesisches Haus auf 4*-Niveau.
  Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet.
  Damen aufgepaßt, leider fehlt ein Fön.
  Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden: Von Duschhaube über Rasierset hin zu Regenschirm und Schuhputzmittel.
  Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet.
  Gott sei Dank ist die Glaswand in der Dusche in der Zwischenzeit mit einem Vorhang vom Schlafbereich getrennt.
  Wer harte Matrazen mit erstklassischen Boxspringbetten mag ist hier gut aufgehoben.
  Das Frühstück ist eher für Fans chinesischer Frühstückgewohnheit gedacht.
  Ansonsten steht viel Equipment herum, ist aber alles leer.
  Der Kaffee war und ist noch immer ungenießbar.

  If you have the room on the wrong (street), you can hear all night the traffic.
  The hotel is a classic Chinese house, 4 * level.
  The rooms are very well equipped.
  Ladies watched, unfortunately missing a hairdryer.
  Otherwise, everything is there: From shower cap over shaving towards umbrella and shoe polish.
  The rooms have modern furnishings.
  Thankfully the glass wall in the shower in the meantime is separated by a curtain from the sleeping area.
  If you like hard mattresses with first quality box spring is in good hands here.
  Breakfast is intended more for fans of Chinese breakfast habit.
  Otherwise, a lot of equipment is around, but everything is empty.
  The coffee was and still is inedible.

  City Center - near to the office CBD JIDA location, close both border crossing to Macau and Ferry terminal to Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Buffet dinner at Panaroma offered ranges of fresh seafood and sashimi, was told it's the best buffet dinner in Zhuhai hotels. Free unlimited internet access provided and delighted that I can still can access to Facebook from the hotel room. Clean and quite room despite that stayed in the room facing the main road facing the new office tower opposite the hotel.

• No frills but serves the needs of traveler

  Near to the Jiuzhou wharf/port, it is conveniently located in Jida area. Public transportation is easily available because there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel.
  Check-in was ok but could do with a little bit more efficiency and smile on the face. However, the bellboy/door boy was a class better. Room was standard as one would have expected from most business hotels, very decent enough for business and leisure traveler. Breakfast area is big and nice, the same can't be said about the variety and quality of the food. On my 3rd day, many would have gotten tired of the same food offered, buffet style though.
  For the decent rate offered, it is nevertheless a good place to spend a couple of nights in Zhuhai.
