  The hotel was very nice, comfortable, good sized rooms, with good facilities including a good gym, heated pool. Located close by are many good restaurants. Take a morning stroll along the Yangtze River. There is a good variety of food for breakfast, both Asian and Western. Friendly staff.

  Ideal location. Situated on the bank of Yantze River, it enjoys an unblocked view of the River. The major places of interest (Jinshan Mountain, Jiaoshan Mountain, Beigushan Mountai and Xijindu) are all within 10 mins' drive distance. In fact we walked along the River to the places with ease. It's not on the downtown streets, so not many restaurants are nearby. But as Zhenjiang is a rather small city, it's not a problem at all. The city center Dashikou is 15 mins' walk away. Xijindu is 20 mins away. The facilities are good, staff helpful. Pillows and blankets comfortable.

  Spent 4 nights in this hotel, and enjoyed every single moment of it. As I'm very used to tiny rooms with the bare minimum of facilities in European hotels, I found the size of the room at the Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang to be enormous, and superbly equipped.
  The room was clean and tidy, and the decoration quite posh. The large screen TV offered various channels, even the French news was available. The in-room wifi was free and worked well. As it was my first time in the city, I was told by some associates that the Crowne Plaza is the only place in Zhenjiang where one could access Google, YouTube, Wordpress, Facebook etc - these sites are blocked elsewhere in the city.
  The minibar was well stocked, and there were wine glasses, bottle opener, kettle and beverages all ready on hand. I didn't order room service, but the menu looked good. Every day, the hotel also offered two bottled waters free, which I appreciated.
  The bed was comfortable and the ambient temperature perfect. The hotel even provides thick and fluffy bathrobes! The bathroom was also huge, and the bath and shower areas were separate. Toiletries also included shaver and shaving cream, a pocket comb, toothbrush and toothpaste on top of the usual. The lighting in the bathroom is perfect, and there were even bathroom scales.
  The hotel has a fitness centre, in-door swimming pool, sauna and spa. I used the fitness centre at 6am every morning, and the other facilities once each during my stay. The only thing that put me off was the guard telling me off for not wearing a swimming cap in the pool. Nowhere was it indicated to guests that it was a requirement, and I found him shockingly rude. The massage at the spa was also pricier than I'd expected! Otherwise, it was all good.
  I had the buffet breakfast every morning, and after day one, the staff had memorised my preferences (quiet corner, cup of coffee with milk on the side, and glass of water) and it's such a delight to start the morning with friendly smiles and top service. The buffet offered a wide assortment of hot and cold foods, including Japanese, continental European, hot English, and a lot of Chinese food too. I found the food very good.
  Definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next visit to Zhenjiang, and cannot recommend it enough to other travellers.

  Stayed for three nights for business. Excellent room and amenities. Gigantic indoor swimming pool. Very good breakfast. No bar to hang out late at night but you can take a taxi to city center for that. Also, very close to old town attraction for food and drinks. Walking distance to local shopping mall. No convenient store nearby. Mostly Chinese locals in city of Zhenjiang.

  We came to this hotel as we have business in the area. It is located in front of a nice river and the views (at least from room 2202) are very nice.
  The hote is a little dated, but accommodating. Staff as you would expect from a nice hotel in China.
  Our room is nice and spaceous, it was not completely clean though... So a minus there.... Air condition is awful! I think it does not work! I am roasting! So another minus there.... Amenities are ok on the low side, and only one soap for hands and shower... Another minus!!! No floor towel... They do have bathrobes. Bed is fine, just fine and the duvet better than the bed... The only problem is with the room temp. The duvet is simply too much.
  Shower is separate.
  The gym is ok and TAKE your water bottle... There is none there!!!
  All is all, ok for just one night, thats it!
