esta bien

Barcelona, Spain | Apr 30, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessRoom 1906

Room for improvement

Singapore, Singapore | May 30, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI did not stay in the main block of the hotel but at 'B' block which is about 3 min walk from the main block of the hotel. The B block look like an 3 star hotel outlook. There is no security presence but a small reception area which cannot see what going on at the lift lobby. So be careful.
The corridor of the block is not well lit and is pretty eerie during the night time.
The rooms are okay but slightly on the small scale. Bed and pillow are comfortable, toilet amenities are average but definitely not the Ramada style but more of a local 3 star hotel. The sound proofing at B block are bad, you can hear the toad croaking even I'm on the 9th floor which is the top floor of the block. As there is a construction going on in front of the entrance not more than 6M, u can expect to be awake by 530am once the construction worker start working at site.
There is nothing much around the hotel but a entertainment joint next to the B block. Wifi is running on a acceptable speed but it will be better to use the LAN ANC bring your own portable Modem.
The breakfast is on the poor side as the food variety are not a lot and it is oily. There is no coffee serve so bring your own. Service staff need to improve on their attitude and standard. When I ask for a bowl of dumpling, they simply tell me it is finished and brushed me away, yet continuing on their conversation. Shorty after 5min, I see them serving again. They can just tell me to come back later instead of brushing me away. For people that do not know how to use chopstick be warned that they not have any fork and spoon, if one of us tried asking for it.
Stay away from the lower floor and for lady try to get room not too far back on the floor. Stay at room with 16 onward on the floors. -
Warm, friendly staff, holiday brand new, still working out some bugs

Perth, Australia | Sep 3, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI have had two stays of three weeks in this hotel over the April-June period and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The reason being the warm and friendly staff. The young, eager staff are more than willing to help you in any way or keen to talk to practice speaking English.
Make no mistakes, the staff's level of English is basic and though it appears from the outside to be a western hotel it has been lost in translations in some aspects, but this is more than made up with by the staff's willingness to learn. Certainly in my stay which commenced during the grand opening until my departure, signature improvements, additions and learnings where continuing.
From a hotel perspective, the rooms and quite lush and comfortable. Construction works nearby are an early morning distraction and did impact on sleep and the hot water does take sometime to heat up.
The gym and pool are adequate without being flashy and the entertainment area consists of snooker, table tennis and a golf simulator (though it never worked while I was stayin)
The restaurant caters for local food (no western food) but is delish. The shanghai dumpling are a winner, cold beer was a struggling but they are learning.
All in all, enjoyed my staff, would return again as the staff are wonderful and friendly.
