  This is very central to Wanda Plaza, Zhugeliang square and Zizhen park, the staff are friendly and understand English. I like Xiangyang as it is easier than Beijing to get around in. Plenty to do here and always something on in the square over the road.

  This hotel takes care of you. The rooms are great. Well taken care of and kept up.
  Clean... well organized.. comfortable all around.
  The location was perfect for me... as I was visiting a new supplier.
  The Huge park square for afternoon walks and enjoying the culture was great.
  I was able to catch a PING PONG match and other cultural events.
  Beautiful statues and night life just outside the square.
  The restaurants at the hotel are just good.. Not great... but good.
  The Buffet for dinner is good. The sushi spot is ok. Cheap. I didn't see an expensive meal at all. For breakfast the buffet is the spot. They have it all... all you need.
  Great coffee.. THey don't make regularly make COffee to go... so they don't have the proper cups for them. They will give you a soda cup for it.. ask to double it up. Coffee is hot.
  Its a high rise hotel... great views of XiangYang...
  Staff was very nice and most speak English which makes the experience less stressful.
  The gym is normal... some weights.. some cardio machines.... big pool.
  I'll be back!

  The location is very good, at Wanda Plaza just beside Zhugeliang Square. Because Xiangyang itself is not very big compared to other China cities like nearby Wuhan, the transportation from hotel to your destination usually is not a big problem.
  The hotel is pretty new, the only issue I had from facility point of view is the cycling machine in the gym. First, the whole gym has only one cycling machine; second, the machine reset itself from time to time.

• Grand view from the scenic elevator

  It is such a grand hotel. Service is great and you must take the scenic ride up to 51st floor via the elevator. You see the city and when you go for the drinks on 51st floor..wow ..the view plus drinks can really kick start yoir holiday. The deluxe rooms are so enjoyable to sleep in..

• Probably the best in town

  If you end up in Xiangyang, this is probably the best place to stay. Not really 5 star if it were in a bigger city, more like 4 star. But the price we got was almost 3 star price, so wasn't complaining! This hotel is a Wanda property attached to one of their malls, which makes it very convenient to go to restaurants and buy stuff around the hotel. It is part of a huge real estate development that also includes a public square, apartments, the hotel and the mall. Very convenient location wise. The rooms are decent, although a bit run down. Like I said, 4 star standard but we were very happy to have it in Xiangyang. A pleasant surprise was the breakfast. I only cost us an additional 80 Rmb for 2 people when booking online so I wasn't expecting much. Was very pleasantly surprised. Espresso machine coffee, quite a bit of Western selections and even 2 choices for bacon - crispy or normal! I have never seen that even in really nice hotels! Would stay here again if ever needed a hotel in Xiangyang. Recommend others do so as well!
