  This hotel was recently refurbished and is absolutely beautiful. Although I would have appreciated more hooks in the bathroom, that really is a pick detail. Everything in this hotel is top of line, BUT the most amazing aspect is the staff. They simply cannot do enough to make sure that your stay is comfortable and you have everything you need.

  We made a very brief stop in Xi'an to view the Terracotta soldiers, Muslim Quarter and City Wall. However, the hotel was so wonderful and staff so friendly that it was hard to leave each day. Our room was beautiful, service and transportation were excellent and our visit with Eddie the bartender during happy hour was so much fun. Plus, he made some amazing cocktails!

  It was by good luck that we stayed at this hotel.
  We had dinner at the Italian restaurant on our first night and met Danny Shao a butler at the hotel. He immediately made us feel welcome and showed us around the hotel. One could not fail to be impressed by its grandeur. He offered to upgrade us from the Sofitel across the road to this hotel. Danny, you helped make our stay in Xian unforgettable.
  The breakfast here is very appetising. Juices are well presented as too is the food. Staff are most attentive.
  The guest rooms are spacious, clean and well presented.
  The pool area is so inviting that it is hard to resist swimming in it.
  If you are visiting Xian do not hesitate to stay at this fantastic hotel. Please say hello to Danny, the best butler I have met in all my travelling days.

  The wonderful staff at Sofitel Legend made my last four night stay in Xi'an very memorable. The staff goes above and beyond to my requests and always service with a smile, a really rare thing in China.
  not surprisingly, most staff are college graduates that are trained in hospitality and are career driven, so they take their service and job very seriously.
  I did not really eat at the hotel besides the breakfast due to the vast amounts of different foods in Xi'an for me to sample. The breakfast was fantastic for a hotel. It had assorted Chinese offerings and a great selection of western stables.
  The value for the hotel is also great compared to the service and amenities it provides.
  If I even go back to Xi'an, this hotel is my top choice!

  Any single moment in this Sofitel Legend is special: the lobby and the friendly and helpful staff, the location near the Muslim quarter and the center, the beautiful and peaceful garden in the back, the big rooms with double bathroom, the furniture, the bed, the amenities. In the morning you have your breakfast looking at the garden and seeing people having tai/chi lessons or doing it by themselves. Service is great and you feel spoiled. We had a standard room and it was simply big and comfortable. Go there if yo go to beautiful Xian.
