Good size of room and plenty of not water but just a little tired. Breakfast was adequate with nothing to really complain about. It a short distance from the centre of town and typical of a touring hotel.

I stayed here one night and it's long enough. I was traveling through China with Smartours and they claim it's a five star hotel. It might be three stars. The rooms are standard and need and upgrade much like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is not to my liking but that's subjective. They do have a great fitness center. I would not stay here again but in a good note the hotel is located close to the metro, Berlin museum, the city wall, and many stores and restaurants.

I stayed here as part of the Travelsphere 8 day tour in China. The hotel pretends to be grand and modern but it is dated and in need of refurbishment. The only strong point is the location as it is walking distance to the central part of the town. The breakfast is ok but nothing special. My room was old and had a mouldy smell to it, also stained carpets and two old, stained sofas.
I would not come back.

The hotel is located in walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower and the city wall and on bus routes to other attractions. The lobby and common areas are beautifully furnished and give an aura of comfort but the rooms have not been well maintained with worn carpets. The breakfast buffet is extensive but closer to the ending time, not much food will be replenished. Good hotel for family.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We come to Xi'an each year and have stayed at several different hotels. Sofar, we like this one the most. Like other reviewers commented on the location is excellent, close to many attractions. There is construction for the new subway going on outside, which hampers traffic going in from one direction, but taxi drivers will know about this. The hotel staff gave us a room on the tenth floor facing away from the construction. As others commented as well, the staff is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast buffet food selection is good, the quality is average, similar to the evening dinner buffet. Food hygiene standards are very high and we had no problems with that. It pays off to prepay for the breakfast, in which you get it at a discounted price --paying the full price is probably not with it. There are many dining options around. The lobby is nice, with afternoon 'high tea' options, and wireless. The rooms are spacious, a bit outdated, but, most important to us, very clean. There is free wireless in the room, although we found the connection to b a bit spotty. Free bottled water, and free coffee, tea and a water cooker in the room are very nice features. The gym, in many even 5 star hotels an afterthought, is excellent, with a nice variety of weight and exercise machines, sauna and pools. All in all, we can recommend this hotel with no reservations, and we will surely come back.
