  An amazing hotel. Great location (just near Zhongshan road), helpful staff. Beautiful, clean, modern rooms and design. Big comfortable bed, and a view to behold.
  We really enjoyed our stay and even added another night. Book through c-trip.
  Highly recommended.

  A friend of mine booked me in the hotel as part of a business trip to Xiamen. I'm normally not a big fan of art inspired hotels, hence didn't expect much. To my surprise I enjoyed a great stay from start to finish: the front desk staff spoke fluent English and was very efficient throughout. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with fresh passion fruit juice and a nice selection of Eastern and Western delicacies.
  Next door to the restaurant is a great Western restaurant and bar called 'Brotzeit - German Bier, Bar and Restaurant'. It serves fantastic German food and has a great selection of imported beers on tab. I enjoyed a yummy 'Currywurst - curry sausage' and drank my way through various well drafted Weissbier and Pilseners...
  I'll be back soon!

  I stayed there on 3rd of Aug. Had a difficulty booking a room for three. The website said that the city view room can accommodate 3 people. Turned out that it cannot fit in extra bed. I don't know what they meant 3 people then.
  We ended up having a seaview room which has not been ready when we got there and we had to help the maid to install the extra bed. Not really a welcoming situation after a long flight.
  Staffs at reception are very polite. Mr.Andy has been very helpful. Breakfast was OK with diligent staffs.
  Location is great, just 5 mins walk from Zhongshan Rd(walking street) and in a safe area with Starbucks right in front the hotel.
  Room was a bit worn out but bathroom was really the best. With this quality of the room, I find it overpriced but the location made it all worth it.

  This is the best boutique hotel in Xiamen .. I check in at almost 2300 hrs after a night flight ... the front desk staff Christina and Jackie so nicely present a glass of juice for relaxing ... The checking in process I already feel the hospitality ... the two staff very sincere and very polite ... I feel very warm ... Christine also introduce me with city map of the nearby attraction ... the location of the hotel is very nice ... I see the management and quality of the first impression of its staff ... I need to congratulate the management of indigo that they got very high calribre .... First entered my room impressed with excellent Seaview where you sit outside the balcony seeing in ferry moving in and out ... The room I stay is 1402 the top floor with balcony ... the decoration inside is warm and cozy ... feel like home ... the restaurant and lounge also one of the best I ever attend .... Good is good food and service is also very good .... the restaurant staff are all very helpful and attentive ... I need to name one staff is Lulu Wong she is particularly cheerful and nice ... Overall this hotel will be my future number one choice when visiting Xiamen again ..

  Been there for 2 nights. The hotel lobby was very small. I thought it would look bigger from its picture...anyway, I booked through hotels.com with a harbour view, king bed and non smoking room. We arrived at late night, the receptionist told me that there's no more room that meatches my booking requirements and insisted to give me a room without seaview. This is ridiculous, it costs a few hundreds more to book a room. After some arguments, we finally got a non smoking seaview with twin bed.
  I was kind of confused, I booked the room two weeks ago and they should have sufficient time to arrange it.
  First impression was negative.
  Then we went up to the room, the art decor was great, however in terms of size it is a bit small, it cannot fit in two pieces of big luggage.
  The most critical thing for this hotel to have this low rating is the room from the buffet breakfast, after having the breakfast, without eating anything afterwards, we both has diarrhea, and embarrassingly I was on the ferry to Gulengyu....it was a disaster.
  Horrible experience and I do not recommend this hotel. With this price, stay in a more established hotel such as Westin or Swissotel.
