Very comfortable hotel

We enjoyed 2 nights here. We had a reasonably large room with a nice bathroom. We ate buffet style in the hotel which was very good value. The service was a bit hit and miss but overall would recommend. Good value for money.

Spouse and I stayed here for 2 nights while on Viking River Cruises China tour. Overall we stayed in 3 hotels in China 1 in Beijing, 1 in Shanghai and this one, This is a fine hotel, but was not the quality or opulence of the other two. Also the one dinner and 2 breakfasts here were good… but not as good; choices were more limited – I for example could not find a muesli or granola cereal at this hotel. The room was a little weird, I thought: 2 twin beds, because the room was in a curved area of the building thus the view of the city was reduced even on the 26th floor. Otherwise the room and associated bathroom were clean and well furnished with supplies and the bed was comfortable. It is a fine hotel, just not a 5 star one. There is no reason I would not stay here if in Xi’an again.

Rooms were clean and with space enough, we requested a crib and arrived ASAP, great service
Dinner and breakfast buffetes both have plenty of western and asian choices, I highly recommend to try them at least one time (book the price with breakfast included, so worth it!!!) and service at restaurant so friendly once feels like VIP
If looking for more eating or shopping choices, the hotel is within a block away from a shopping center that includes a supermarket
Summary: nice choice while at Xi'an, right price vs quality and service

I enjoyed this hotel. Maybe the rooms were not as plush as the Shangri-la but in my opinion it had a more relaxed feel( maybe it was the free flow wine that they serviced with dinner.
The food was excellent with plenty of seafood for people who enjoy it. It was buffet style so you could choose to take as little or as much of what you wanted. The staff were helpful without over powering you. The bedroom were extremely clean and comfortable with great views but the room is cylindrical and might need a bit of getting used to.
