Lot of eating options with all types of food and bars just adjacent to hotel.
Staff is courteous and and even business center provides lot of help.
They booked train tickets for me small fee which is Good otherwise you have to make a trip to station and if you don't know Chinese it is big problem.
Rooms are well equipped and buffet breakfast is great. -

Check-in and check-out processes were very slow. Staff, though friendly, did not seem motivated enough. Same experience with the restaurant staff. Management must review HR policy and address employee training needs.
Room was good and clean, though bed linen and towels seemed old and much used. Wifi was workable.
The best part of the hotel was its location - just next to the canal and old town with great night life. Also not far from the high speed train station.
Buffet breakfast had a good spread and quite nice.
To summarize, it was a good hotel. Hope the management takes steps to strengthen employee morale. Would return when next in Wuxi. -

The hotel has a great location and access to some of the best restaurants in Wuxi, fantastic service and all the amenities you would expect. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful. There is nothing I can fault and it would be a pleasure to return when we go back to this charming city.

Hotel has a pool which are big and clean enough for exercise. -
Very Nice But Short Stay

Windsor, Canada | Jun 21, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessAfter a very long day starting at 7am in Shanghai, I ended up at Hotel Nikko Wuxi. I feel bad because most of what I did here was just sleep, but the hotel itself is very stylish and the service was excellent. All of the employees refused to let me handle my own luggage even though I insisted.
The room itself was very well appointed. King sized bed was comfortable, in fact I slept through my alarm. The desk area was nice, however one word of caution, if you are from North America, make sure to bring an adapter to plug in a 3-prong plug such as a computer. I was lucky my computer was fully charged or I would have not been able to communicate with home. Bathroom was very nice, big soaker tub, but did not use. The internet was a little spotty, but I have that issue all over in China, it is what it is, but it was free. As well, the price was very reasonable at 430 RMB, so around $70 USD.
All in all, relative to my home base Hyatt in Shanghai, I would stay at Hotel Nikko Wuxi again if I had to be in the area. My stay was so short, however, I cannot comment on surroundings, dining, etc.
