Jul 27, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayMade a last minute reservation from the USA. The hotel didn't have the reservation so check in took some time. Eventually figured it out. Usually, the check in process if fast and smooth. Room is nice with some typical (for China) burned carpet from cigarettes. Bed is firm but not as firm as many places. Finally, there is wi-fi in the room but it isn't very fast. The breakfast is pretty good. A wide selection of Chinese and Western food. Try the Re Gan Mian (Ruh Gan Me-an) or Hot Dry Noodles, known as a Wuhan city breakfast specialty. Staff knows some English and does a nice job. A huge bus stop outside of the hotel now. Taxis are a little harder to find since the city blocked the entrance to the hotel but go out of the hotel and turn right and you can find a taxi about 1/2 block away. Be prepared to walk to find food but a huge shopping complex is by the subway stop a couple of blocks away. Overall, this is my preferred place to stay in Wuhan for the value to quality.

As everywhere in China it is a good idea to bargain with the receptionist about the price. Wifi is pretty stable. Rooms are clean but without shower, just tub. -

comfortable hotel at wuhan

kathmandu | Oct 19, 2025 | Trip type: Businessi had stayed there for a week and i found that room and service was very nice, staff were very friendly. breakfast served there was very nice, since i didn't eat lunch and dinner there can't tell you. Spa facility at the hotel is very good they even have a small pool at 6th floor.

Nice room but old and dirty

Shanghai | Sep 2, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travelThis is a nice hotel but in desperate need of refurbishment. The room was very big and well equipped with everything you expect. The bed was firm but comfortable and the bathroom was good.
The main drawback is that everything is clearly old. The lamp shade was stained and moldy and the floor was very uneven. It seemed as though some of the boards bellow the carpet have sunken and nobody has replaced them. Several times I found long hairs that clearly aren't mine as I am a man with short hair. Also there was condensation in between the double glazing making most of the window impossible to see out of clearly.
They other big problem is that they claim to offer free WiFi, but it is so bad it is completely unusable. You're lucky if you can get a connection in the first place and then you can never keep it for more than a minute or 2. In the end I had to settle for the old school wire connection for my laptop and using the mobile data on my phone. Really not ideal!
I got a very cheap rate for this hotel. If I could get the same rate again I would go back, but I wouldn't pay a lot to stay here.
