Wuhan Ramada optics valley is getting worse
Daniele B
Florence | Oct 29, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessAfter seven years of visits in Ramada Plaza optics valley in Wuhan I realized in this last trip that quality of the stay is decreasing. Service in no more top level as before, customer do not feel at center as in the past. Breakfast restaurant is the example of the trend, lower level employees, most of them with serious problems in understanding English. The approach of this team is no more to serve customer at best but they focus in restaurant activities. Customer is poorly served and has to wait long time for simple things as a coffee. The hotel is still a good one but the excellence is something different. Noise in rooms during the night makes sleeping a bad experience. WiFi in rooms is very slow, a reasonable access is possible only with wired LAN

Use to be better

Varberg | Oct 27, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessUse to be a lot better.
The food at the buffet at the upper floor restaurant was not fresch.
The overall service in the upper floor restaurant and the breakfast was actually quite poor.
I stayed at this hotel the first time in 2008 and have been staying here many times during the years. However, now it was 1,5 years sins my last visit and I will probably choose another hotel in Wuhan for my next visit.
The hotel has now an executive floor. I did went there to have a look in order to decide if it was worth the extra money. ....It was a joke. -

Yokkaichi, Japan | Sep 9, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI thought communication speed of WiFi should have been a little earlier, but you could have time comfortably, I have also had some birthday cakes,so I'm satisfied overall.
Thank you very much for a long time, it was under care. -
A friendly hotel

Melbourne, Australia | Sep 1, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThe hotel is very nice inside. Staff at reception and the concierge desk were very helpful. On arrival in a taxi in which the driver didn't turn on the meter until half way in from the airport and then wanted to guess at a fare, the concierge did the haggling on my behalf without being asked to do so and arrived at a good outcome. The room in which I stayed was very large and comfortable. When I arrived back late in the afternoon there was a complimentary half bottle of champagne in an ice bucket. Staff at reception were helpful and wrote directions for me in Chinese. Breakfast was good. Neighbourhood is busy, congested and polluted, partly due to construction works.

Good hotel, great location

Brussels, Belgium | Jul 20, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessConveniently located at Optics Valley, just above the metro station, it's a good hotel for staying in Wuhan. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a good choice of restaurants in the hotel, though you have to be early as they close at 9pm. Don't miss it, as the room service is horrible.
