Graceful Wuhan
A TripAdvisor Member
Sep 15, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessFaultless. Looks can be deceiving going by roadside exterior. Interior is beautifully appointed and service staff exceptional. Highly recommended the the Chinese food over the Western. Professional chefs at work here. The breakfast was substantial with plentiful choice. A buffet of both East and West. If you get the chance try the massage just off site.

What a surprise!

Walworth | Sep 22, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessJust stayed here one night on a business trip. The hotel is very nice, lots of wood, they are going for upscale English hotel look and it comes off pretty well. Checkin was a little complicated but not the fault of the hotel. Our customer arranged the rooms but never passed along the names in our team. After a quick phone call with a Chinese coworker our desk clerk was able to find the reservation and took care of us quickly.
Rooms are big, very cozy, see pictures attached. Turndown service included milk and cookies instead of a chocolate, along with traditional slippers.
All rooms have individual wifi routers. If you have an iPad or phone you are going to have some trouble connecting. I could not connect until I tried my laptop and clicked on connect. Once I did that I was able to connect my iPad and phone. Speed is very good, no problems face timing.
Breakfast is included with the room. All in all a really nice place to stay, meets Western standards, I would stay again. -
Beautiful hotel, excellent wifi, excellent food

Thunder Bay, Canada | May 29, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a 2-week business trip. The previous two hotels I had stayed at in other cities were only so-so, with dubious internet so it was a relief to be staying at a hotel with superb internet (wireless routers in each room) which was important to me given it was a business trip. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfy. the desk was good. I had a room on the back of the hotel so it was very quiet and I slept very well. The breakfast was excellent - the only place in China I stayed that actually had oatmeal which made me a happy camper. I also ate one meal in the restaurant with colleagues - it was a buffet and the choices were excellent. I'm not a huge eater so can never make the most of a buffet from a quantity perspective but the quality was very good and it was great to have so much choice. The staff were excellent. Because the hotel was close to where I had meetings thus very convenient for me, it was an ideal place to hang my hat for 2 nights.

Confortable but too noisy

Feb 17, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThis hotel have clean room and good buffet.
He is realy fare from downtown.
The major issue is the noise. If you have a room from road side forgot to sleep, windows insulation is not here. You will ear horn all along the night.
I try to change the room, but did not succed. -
The GM calls me on my second day there to claim I stained a towel? Are you kidding?
Margaret G
Hartford, Connecticut, United States | Mar 4, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessMy towels were still in my room. Housekeeping neglected to collect the used ones that I put in the used towel bin. I asked him, how could you make that determination when they are in my room? After 2 phone calls, where he hung up on me, I went down to the front desk. He claimed I stained a towel, and that if it could not be cleaned I would be charged for it. ARE YOU KIDDING? I told him it was still in my room. So, we go up to my room, I show him my towels, and he examines them. Embarrassing!!! Rude!!!!!
Need I tell him now that the first night I put an order in for breakfast (at 11:00PM and the cut off time for putting it on the door was 3:00AM) and it was never collected from the door? Should I tell him the alarm clock doesn't work? Or that I ran out of toilet paper? I have had to go to the public restroom 3x in the hotel to grab toilet paper. My shower overflows the 1 inch barrier after 1 minute. and the sink leaks.
Maybe tomorrow the housekeeping will explore my garbage and tell me I used too many Kleenex!!!!
I will be cutting my 2 week stay short and going back to the Hilton! I have never, ever had a hotel look at my towels in front of me and say that I may have ruined them (I did not). I don't even use my facecloths to take off my makeup. I am so furious!!! I have never been treated so bad, and had so many maintenance problems. Stay away from this shiny hotel, since beneath the shine is a lot of dirt.
