Good value for money spent.

New York City, New York | Mar 26, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesThis was the second time in a few years that i stayed.at this property
Overall, it's a 5 star hotel: rooms are immaculate, service is great, breakfast is wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars but the sports facilities are severely lacking. The exercise room is really outdated with equipment that's as old as my (passed away) Grandfather! The pool is ok as it's about 25 meters long though a bit cold - 25 or 26 degrees Celsius. The sauna is a tiny one that barely fits 2 adults and takes 30 minutes just to heat up. There's 1 toilet that exists like in a college locker room and two showers. There's no luxury in this locker room. Just a basic area to dress and shower.
Had it been a modern sports facility, I would have given the Hotel 5 stars. But it gets 4 stars. If one does not use the pool or gym, then it's great as the price is a bit less than other comparable hotels and everything else is 5 star all the way!
Oh, one more slight negative: The mattresses were quite hard - almost like sleeping on a board. I myself don't mind that but i think a lot of Americans will not like that. Perhaps they can switch it out for a softer one, but call ahead first to make sure. Otherwise, it's sleeping on a hard mattress! -
Decent hotel, but not the best in town

Paris, France | Feb 4, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessA standard business hotel, with no particular charm, and the rooms start ageing. The hotel is well located in the center of Wuhan. There are better choices in town, but you will sleep decently in a standard comfort.

Slowest check out ever...
Oooo1
Zurich, Switzerland | Jun 21, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThe hotel is conveniently located (at least for my purposes) and the rooms are dated but clean. Be aware the the beds are very(!!!) hard. Breakfast was good with fresh juices and a decent egg station as well a wide selection of other items.
However, check in and check out is super slow. Check out tool me more than 30min and there were only a few people in line. I cannot imagine how long one would have to wait if there are more people checking out / in at the same time. -
Poorly Maintained, Cumbersome Chek-in and Check-out Processes

Hong Kong, China | Jul 7, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesThis hotel is located in an interesting area with lots of little shops and restaurants. Out the front door, turn left and then left again at the street corner leads to a tree-lined street full of interesting shops. In particular, look for the restaurant with the yellow and red sign that is shown in the appended photo.
The hotel itself is less of a draw. The overall feeling of the hotel is that it is not well maintained, which suggests in turn that it is not well managed.
It has a pool, but the area around the pool is poorly maintained, dirty.
The room was fine. Wifi worked, ample electrical outlets, etc. Water pressure was good, etc.
The check-in and check-out processes were ridiculously slow. We almost missed our train due to the time it took the front desk to check us out. -
Sakura Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant 2nd floor

Douglas, United Kingdom | Feb 4, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesI find this type of restaurant exceptional when it is good, but abysmal when it is bad. Imagine my surprise, when I emailed this restaurant to enquire that they did indeed cook on the hot plate, to be told a setting at the grill would be reserved for me.
Wonderful I thought, so you can imagine my dismay after placing my order and sitting patiently at the grill, when my food was brought out of the kitchen already cooked.Of course my complaints went unnoticed as English was not spoken. On the plus side the food was actually very good.
