This hotel is very new, has an amazing location regarding the outsides of the hotel. It is located in the middle of the East Lake Zone, with an easy access to the East side of Wuhan.
Rooms are great with shower and bath, I had a perfect view on the lake (the upper floor the better).
The italian restaurant is good, did not try other restaurant.
Only negative point is that it is far from the city it self, you'll need at least 20min of cab.
I'll come back!

Greeted with staff who are genuinely happy to serve, Met staff who recalled my surname at the reception and coffee shop. Small details but made a difference for me, a frequent traveler. Chinese restaurant's standard exceeded expectation. Staff has natural instinct to serve and to please.

The Hilton Wuhan offers a luxurious stay with plenty of options to keep the entire family engaged during your stay. The quality and service are excellent. It would probably suit someone who was looking to spend more time at the hotel, having a relaxing stay, as opposed to spending time sightseeing and returning to the hotel for bed and breakfast.
Expansive modern Hilton out of town

This is a huge hotel just over a year old. It's service has improved greatly since it opened in 2014 but it still has a feel of an empty shell - at least when i was there. The room (suite) that I was upgraded to was excellent with a sitting room, office, and large bedroom with a great view of the lake. It was a 10 minute walk from the lobby. Room amenities were up to Hilton standards. Sleep was comfortable and quiet.
The staff tried extra hard to be friendly and helpful and had great attitude. The italian restaurant was open and had good food, the bar was not open. Not all of the grounds has been finished.
The biggest downside is that this hotel is at least a 40 minute drive from anywhere in Wuhan and is just not convenient to get to. Taxi drivers still often don't know where it is.

The Wuhan Hilton is an excellent facility for a conference and/or a family vacation. It is more than an hour from the airport and over half an hour from the center of town, but the beauty of the grounds, the surrounding lake and many services offered at the hotel make it worth it. The room was spacious and gorgeous. I especially appreciated the large bathtub and the balcony overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and lake. It has an excellent workout facility, children's indoor play area, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, table tennis, billiards and a golf simulator. I tagged along with my husband as he was a speaker at a conference located in the hotel. The organizers arranged many site seeing trips for me in Wuhan, which I appreciated, but all I really wanted to do was stay in and enjoy the hotel!
