Well placed
ormeaugirl
australia | Feb 20, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesThe location was the best thing about this hotel; it was very central. The hotel lobby looks promising for sure, but once upstairs, the rooms are tired and dated. I've read here that the hotel has recently been refurbished; well they must have missed our room! The bathroom was especially uninviting. Fluro lights above the mirror and the old bath/ shower combo! The internet was fast and free...but tea and coffee was not complimentary; ¥20 for a teabag seems pretty steep!
The breakfast buffet was adequate, but they allow smoking in the dining room, which I personally find objectionable. Overall it's adequate as a base. -
Business Trip

Australia | Feb 5, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessVery Acceptable Hotel for the business traveller however they didn't have massage facilities and we needed to walk a K to find one. The Sauna Floor had also closed down probably when the government cracked down on vice activity. Good, clean room, no issues.Room 1817 was fine. Breakfast on 25th floor had panoramic view of the city which include the rubbish on the tops of all the building! Breakfast was large variety mainly Chinese with enough western to satisfy a foreigner.

Nice hotel, great value

Canberra, Australia | Aug 30, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travelExcellent stay, directly across from riverview park. Higher floors will have less road noise, however on thing was the the Ferry's on the river (HUGE LOUD HORNS) will wake you up every 30/45 minutes if you are a light sleeper or when they are running. seemed from early morning 5am or so it becomes noticable.

It's A Chinese Hotel--Enough Said

Bangkok | Aug 18, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI stayed one night at this hotel. It had a bed. I slept in it. That is really about the best I can say. The room itself was tiny, tiny, tiny. The internet was very spotty, as is often the case in less-cosmopolitan Chinese city hotels. Each room is supposed to have it's own router, but it took the staff about 15 minutes to figure out how to get my router working. The television channel selection did not live up to the "International" in the hotel name. The tv was rather small as well, but as the room was small, maybe that wasn't a bad thing.
I am glad I wasn't staying for more than a night, but for one night's sleep, it was adequate, if barely. -
Terrible Hotel
A_Slotty
Vancouver, Canada | Oct 29, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayThis place is not a 4 star hotel. Smoking is allowed in rooms and you must pay a premium to have a non-smoking room. The gym is small and most of the machines are out of order, not to mention you need to have an attendant escort you each time you want to use it. The hotel is well situated. The breakfast is catered to both western and Asian palates. Though the menu is the same everyday.
I would not recommend staying at this hotel. It's overpriced for the quality of stay.
