• Great hotel and price, location a bit lackluster(but TJ is a one horse town)

  I stayed here October 4-5 ,2014. Prove was around 400rmb a night super good for a 4 star. Your money goes much further in Tianjin than beijing .its the new jersey to beijing's newyork
  CAB TO HOTEL: the hotel was very easy for the driver to find, about 25 minutes away from the railway station.
  CHECK-IN: checkin was super smooth and fast, there was Some deposit fee maybe around 100$ and the checkin staff spoke perfect English.
  LOBBY: the lobby is very beautiful tall ceiling and nice furniture. Lush green plants and ornate statues.
  THE ROOM: the room was one of the first few hotels I stayed in in China, it met all my requirements for a 4 star hotel. The bed was beyond soft the TV was new and flat, all the furniture was nice and matched the rooms theme. The mini bar had many glasses and an electric water kettle, tea and coffee sachets, nice electric safe, nice cotton robes and slippers. Desk with stationary.
  Wifi: wifi was free and I didn't have a problem with it.
  THE BATHROOM: the bathroom was above 4 stars, the shower was very large with a rain fall shower head very wide, the toilet was clean and flushed the toilet paper down no problem. Many clean towels , shampoo conditioner, everything you'd need.
  GYM/POOL: this is the only time I didn't make use of the facilities, it was a hyper relaxation weekend for me.
  RESTAURANT: the Japanese restaurant was top notch, they had a 200rmb(30$) for 2 people special. 5-6 course meal with great taste and display, I was 120kg at the time and it filled my stomach no problem.
  LOCATION: the location is definitely clean and nice, but a bit boring. It's 20 mins from "the eye of Tianjin" and "Europe town" not bad considering tianjins very low taxi cost.
  CHECK-OUT: the checkout was swift and easy I grabbed my deposit and was given a goodbye and a smile by the workers,
  I would recommend this place to friends, it was very quiet and relaxing, the beds were great. With a price of 400 there's no reason not to come.

  Enjoyed the staff and beds- would recommend this hotel- loved the food fun and fellowship with staff and others who helped me and know my face- been there so many times- and loved the work out area as well- enjoyed the rooms- walked kilos throughout the hotel- pool is nice too!

  I had a five day business meeting in Tianjin in December.
  The hotel was booked by my Chinese Hosts and it was perfect for my needs.
  The Hotel is very modern with many friendly English speaking staff - when you meet one that doesn't speak English they quickly find one that does..
  The Superior Double room on the 18th floor was very quiet and clean - the wifi was adequate for emails etc.
  There is a small cake shop in the foyer that serves up lovely cream cakes - after 6:00pm all cakes are half price!!
  Well stocked dining room for breakfast - catered for all cultures - the chef makes a great omelet

  Big hotel plenty of services.
  I have spent 5 weeks this year, and i must confess prices for buffet food are really expensive.
  It is far from downtown but close to industrial area, so I prefer to be close to work than to the city. Personnel correct in manners but most of people do not speak english, so sometimes is a bit difficult to make you understand.
  Anyhow, good in general but must take care about the cleanness of the rooms.
  Carpets sometimes not yet deep clean.

  I stayed at the Tianjin Saixiang Hotel in July 2014. I stayed in a superior double room, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet.
  The rooms have coffee and tea making facilities and a few things in the mini bar.
  The breakfasts cater for Asian and Western tastes and there is a huge variety to choose from. The hotel management do need to make sure that they always have some one on duty that really speaks English and not just someone with a badge that states "I speak English" but have no idea. It is terribly frustrating when you need to address something urgently and are not able to communicate your problem. The staff in the restaurant at least tried or if they could not speak English tried to get someone who did. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is situation in the Business District of Tianjin (not the manufacturing area) and was well serviced by taxis etc. The staff is the restaurant (where you can have breakfast, lunch etc) was also very accommodating - although the restaurant only opened at 6am, they assisted a very hungry, jetlagged guest with something to eat at 5:30am. Great work there. Overall a great hotel but the language barrier needs to be addressed as this is a hotel that a lot of business people stay in. The free Wi-Fi was a plus but it was quite slow at times.
