  I had to be in Suzhou for business and stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Suzhou. Great hotel, it was super busy. Rooms are spacious, certain views are just amazing. Service is attentive, gym is nicely equipped. WiFi works well too.

• Great hotel

  Stayed one night on 16th floor with fantastic view of the lake. Clean room with all amenities. Shower good temperature but had to get the knack to control hot, cold, spray and rainshower which took some trial and error. Beds very comfortable with soft snuggle up linen conducive to a good rest. Breakfast 3rd floor great variety and excellent griund coffee. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, and front desk staff extremely swift in quich check in and check out. See you next time in Suzhou.

  Just back to here again. The whole period of the stay was just fine.
  The property was a little far away from the attractions, and no public transportation services nearby, like metro and buses, comparing other brands, such as Hyatt and Inter Continental.
  Anyway, I consider the property better than some other Kempinski properties in China, such as K-Shenyang, One Executives Suites at Shanghai.

  The fact that we are right between two beautiful lakes has naturally pros and cons: We are surrounded by a huge park and natural beauty where you can relax with walking, sailing, golfing and other outdoor activities. Our concierge will assist you 24hrs with taxi bookings and even has some bicycles to rent for you. The nearest shops, restaurants and entertainment are available in Ligongdi, only 6 km away.

• luxurious resort

  I only had a short stay, but I was impressed.
  very spacious rooms, with stunning view.
  The lakes & the golf course are turning this into a real resort.
  Some downsides: the check in check out process takes a whole lot of time...

• Very nice but away from things

  Stayed here twice in the last couple of years. Hotel is in a park like setting. Long driveway up to the hotel, takes about ten minutes to walk to the street outside of the park. Looks like a very exclusive area. You need a car, there is nothing in walking distance. Rooms and bathrooms are large and very nice. The lobby is huge and very impressive. The bar is great and overlooks the lake. Breakfast is outstanding with a great view of the lake. Pool is almost olympics sized. Check-in took very long for me and all of my colleagues. Must have been close to ten minutes.
