Oct 25, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessDuring the past years, I have travelled to Shijiazhuang a lot because of the business. There is not many five-star hotel over there. I only find Hilton Shijiazhuang on a recent trip in October. i have stayed for two nights and I highly recommend this hotel for business travellers. The room sizes are very comfortable. Interior design is very nice. You could feel and touch the luxurious in the room. Gym opens for 24 hours which is very good if you have jet leg and wake up in the very early morning. The restaurant and the food is very good. I believe that Hilton Shijiazhuang is the number one five-star hotel in Shijiazhuang, not only the location, but also the fit-out and the services. Something needs to be improved is the car park. Wish they could do better for a valet parking. And also wish they should locate certain parking bays for the hotel guests where is close to the lifts.

Only minor issues but complaining on a high level

Sep 16, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessAfter having managed to find the reception on the 31st floor and spending the time to get there (not what you really want after a trip half way around the world) the experience of checking in is pleasant. Efficient and friendly staff helps to be in the room in no time taking dedicated elevators.
Corner room very spacious with spectacular view over the city. Room with very modern but functional furnishings. One just wonders how it will look after it's not new anymore. Traveling on business this is the room you want. Bathroom spacious too with separate walk-in shower and bathtub (ever used?). WLAN is free but maybe owing to the corner location of the room at times with poor and unstable connection which is a pain.
Restaurant for breakfast and other meals with a lot of light and spacious. Breakfast in quality and quantity very good. Dinner buffet with good selection of food and good quality. Missing: cheese selection (?) and wine by the glass. Staff not very attentive in removing plates and English is an issue if you have a question.
Checking-out as efficient as it can be. Getting a taxi can at times be an issue and the hotel staff will not help you to get one. At least this is my experience. -
