• Outstanding place to stay

  I had to travel to Shenzhen for work, and booked 1 week at the Fietser, I was with another business partner, so we booked the 2 bedroom room. My other co-worker was alone, so he booked the single bedroom room. The room size is outstanding. In the 2 bed room, there's an entry-way, dining area, separate living/family room area, full kitchen, and 2 full size bedrooms. The beds were comfortable, not the "typical" wood board that China is known for. The desk staff is extremely nice, a full breakfast came with my room, and it was a good breakfast, a good combination of western and Chinese options. Door attendant was always willing to help hail a taxi. The location of the hotel has you just 1 block away from many shopping and dining options. It was such a great experience, my company has made an agreement with Fietser that we use them when we are in Shenzhen from now on.

  This is one hotel without a car porch so you have to drive down the basement car park and hunt for the lift entrance to the lobby. First timer can waste 10-15 minutes doing just that.
  The hotel is average, good value for money.
  Because it's slightly away from main road, taxi can be hard to find, and you need to get in and out quickly to avoid blocking other cars.
  Rooms are nice and good, they come in suites with kitchen, laundry, living room. Great for 2 or 3 guests sharing an apartment.
  Fixtures are new and working. Free wifi as in most local Chinese hotels.
  Breakfast is local standard, minimal but adequate.

  Good place for long stay traveller including business trip. Located near by Shenzhen down town. Easy to find a taxi. 5 minutes from the subway station near by. Friendly staffs. Japanese tv programs are available (NHK int'l , TBS , Fuji TV).

  I was impressed with the service starting from the day I did the booking, I had to get the booking confirmation in few minutes as it was needed for my visa application and i had a tight schedule. I sent an email to the hotel manager Cimmy Chen and the response and confirmation was like in a giffy. And later I had to request cimmy for the basic kitchette and other stuffs as i was planning to cook for myself most of the time. Before even I got into my room everything was set as requested. Cheers and Kudos to Cimmy. Its a great hotel i would rather say its a serviced apartment with the facilities of a hotel. Breakfast is okay - not so great for visitors, not sure because its more localised the native people of china may like it. The reception staff can manage talking in English, however the other staff find it difficult to communicate in english, but I think it is not a a big issue for me until now. Overall its a very good business hotel and my experience is been very good until now. The location is very convenient lot of restaurants markets and very close to the xiangmihu sub way...so its pretty much wat i wanted.

• Usefull starting place

  We have lived there for a week with my collegues and it was quite nice. The service was great and staff was very helpfull and they spoke quite a good english.
  The kitchen/washing machine/AC/TV are very usefull, specially when you stay for a longer time.
  Only breakfasts were not good at all, for 50¥ a breakfast in the residence you can have a freshly baked muffin and a grande cappucino in the Starbucks caffee just around the corner.
  Some rooms tho', have the breakfast included and for 15% service tax you can have it delivered to your room.
  Internet is not as fast as you would want it, but still ok.
  Gym upstairs is well equiped and pool on the rooftop (33rd floor) is a nice way to relax at the end of the day, but you need to contact the reception day ahead to prepare it for you.
