  Pleasant well appointed hotel. Good sized room, very clean and well serviced. Great location and very close to subway and all amenities. It is convenient to local markets, restaurants and the tourist attractions. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and while communication through English was limited it did not detract in any way from our visit. We stayed for 3 nights on a room only basis but had ample choice for breakfast in the immediate vicinity.

  Hong Bo Hotel is good and recommended to friends because the room is clean and the service staff are friendly. I face no problem at this hotel which I stayed for 3 nights. Good hotel and clean. The only thing I not satisfied is No varieties to choose for breakfast and limited.

  I have booked a luxury room type. The room was very modern and new with nice bathroom. It is not a big hotel but situated in a very nice residential area of the city. You don't feel the buzzing of the city much yet it is within walking distance to the metro which I think it is the best way to travel in Shenzhen. It is also very close to the the tourists places such as Happy Valley, Cultural Village, etc.
  Breakfast is so so but the Cantonese restaurant on the 1st floor is very good with nice decoration.

  Hong Bo is a reasonable 3-star hotel. I stayed in the standard double room on 3/F which is reasonably clean and tidy. Hot shower is available but no bath tub for the standard room (RMB 300, about US$40). If you need a bath, choose the deluxe room (RMB 400, about US$55) on higher floors. The ambience is quite good with trees and garden but avoid Room No. 305 which is facing a dark backdoor. No recreational facilities except a foot massage centre. A large garden (Eco Square) is just located beside the hotel and walk uphill you can have a nice countryside hiking.
  The hotel is situated in a major entertainment development - Hua Qiao Cheng. Within 10 minutes walk, you can reach many theme parks: Happy Kingdom, Windows of the World, Splendid China and Folk Culture Village. The Food-Street is also located within 10 minutes walk, just follow the mono-rail line and walk backward.
  It is located within 5 minutes walk from the Hua Qiao Cheng Metro Station (subway) exit B. If you take the Metro from Lo Wu Station (major border-crossing from Hong Kong), it takes about 40 minutes. A faster route is to take taxi from Huang Gang border-crossing, it takes about RMB 40 and only 15 minutes. This hotel is recommended for budget travellers.

  Hong Bo hotel is located in the center of Shenzhen, 10 minutes far from "Window's of the World" park and 5 minutes from "Happy Valley" park.
  Inspite of good location, the hotel itself is AWFUL!!!
  Hotel looks grey and smells mouldy, maybe because of high humidity outside.
  Reception: there are many girls in reception desk, maybe, only 1 can speak bad English , other cannot speak English at all! They just know the sentence: May I help you?
  When you continue to ask, they stupidly smile to your face , showing that they don't understand anything.
  Room: it was standard room on the 4th floor, room looks not bad, but the atmosphere in it awful, if you don't switch on air conditioner , you will die from mouldy smell, no any fresh air, and the window in the room couldn't be open.
  Most channels are in chinese , I could find only one channel in English.
  Breakfast is disgusting! My cutomer went there , they complaint all the trip! I even didn't go there once, I bought everything from market,
  At night i woke up from noisy in the upper floor, the guests were jumping , talking loudly and shouting , and maybe the walls are too thin, I could hear all this noise!
  I called to reception , they tried to make them calm, but no any results..
  I would definitely never stay there!!!
