  I liked the place a lot, clean, large rooms, marble bath floors, tub and shiwer, huge bed, and huge breakfast! It kept me going all day (was probably the only tourist in Shenzhen, everybody else was there for business). At least one person per shift speaks very good English to write for you the name of the place you want to visit in Chinese, so that you can ask once out on the street. Very close to the metro, and for the airport is a 10 min taxi ride to Huanggang Port and then 45 min ride to the Hong Kong airport. Do not expect much access to wetern sites like google or facebook, so print out your maps before you leave home.

  Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2015. Generally the room is clean and of decent size for 1-2 people. No complains about the bed or pillows but if you are looking to watch some TV then you going to be disappointed. Everything is in Chinese except for 1 English news channel. All English movies are pay per view.
  Location wise this hotel is next to a MRT station so that is super convenient if you want to move around. Highlight is of course the IT centre. It is just 3 minutes walk and you could spend the whole day going through all the malls and shops...it was almost endless. Do be careful of imitation products cos its everywhere. And don't forget to bargain. They can drop their prices by 30-40% easily.

  We have stayed in this hotel twice during our business trips and did not look for other options. Even standard rooms are comfortable, spacious and arranged thoughtfully. You have a rest zone and a working zone with a table where you can work, if necessary. Beds are very convenient and we slept very well. WiFi, however, could be better. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities (please note that coffee is only instant and with milk, like everywhere in China).
  Located in the business area and just 1-minute walk from Electronic Center. If you need to go to Hong Kong use MTR (very close) and it is the same line, only five stops, cost 3 RNB per person, no need for taxi.
  The staff might be more pleasant and customer oriented, but in general very good hotel for reasonable price.
  Breakfast for additional cost (40 RNB per person), but it did not impressed. Better and cheaper to eat outside.

  The hotel we usually stay in was full and we came to this one. I was impressed. Lovely comfortable bed, shower with hot water and high pressure, good spread at breakfast, fast internet service.
  Having read the previous reviews I think there may have been improvements made on this hotel.
  It's close to the shops etc and if you need halal food, there are restaurants literally 10 minutes walk away.
  I'd definitely come back here. Although we were out all day long, being able to have a good shower and comfy sleep meant that we were ready to work each day.

  The Fortune hotel is located just off the main thoroughfare in Shenzhen and is literally just two minutes walk from the subway station entrance. Although there were two of us sharing the room, we received just one voucher for breakfast the following morning and so had to pay for the second breakfast on both mornings. Also, when I could locate the room key to hand back when checking out, I was charged the equivalent of about €6. The room was adequate as was the breakfast but the staff were surly. Not a place that you can expect a hearty welcome. The shower is very good though and has high water pressure.
