• Good comfortable stay in downtown area

  the room is comfortable. we stayed in a triple room and the daily room cleaning is prompt and good. Concierge service was good too, helping us to arrange for the cab back to airport on our last day of stay.
  the hotel is only 3 minutes away from the shopping mall (with cineplex! and lots of yummy food choices - restaurants, cafes - and supermarket), and same 3 minutes to Guomao mtr station.
  by foot, the hotel is just 20 minutes away from Laojie, which is not that hard to navigate after you've been familiarized with the district.
  Really very good stay, and it made our holiday in Shenzhen a memorable one.

  Travelling time from Hong Kong airport to Kai Li Hotel took us about 90 minutes by car.
  Stayed in this hotel for a week. The staff are courteous. Only problem was in communicating with Room Service staff. They don't speak English.
  Everything else is really nice about this hotel.
  Since the hotel is centrally located, we were able to complete our industry visits in less travelling time around Shenzhen.

  Depending on various booking sites, some might name it motel, some hotel and you might get confuse. It's really a hotel actually :)
  Location
  It's conveniently located right next to GuoMao shopping mall and only about 5-10 mins car ride away from Luo Hu railway station (Shenzhen Railway Station) where you can cross the border and go to Hong Kong. Further walk down towards the left hand side, you'll find more malls and also a Walmart available for supermarket/grocery shopping. Being on the main road, it's quite easy to get a taxi by the roadside (but am not too sure during peak hours as I did not travel during that time).
  Rooms
  Non-smoking rooms are available at 8th floor but there will still be some cigarette smell in the walkway and around hotel (it's China and cigarette smoke will always be present regardless if it's smoking or non smoking area). I stayed twice in a week and the first room I got was facing something like an alley and it was quite scary so I requested for a room facing the city view on my second check-in. Front desk staff was kind enough to accommodate though I had to wait about 20 mins for the room to be ready.
  Price
  Booked through Booking.com and got a reasonable deal. No breakfast available but there's a coffee shop/restaurant at lobby area where you have dine in.
  Will choose to stay here again.

  We booked this hotel in booking because it was a 4 star hotel, but honesty speaking it is an old hotel and might be 3 stars, they offer free sauna and pool but we went there and we cannot use it because the water was cold. We asked for a non smoking room and even that they gave us a room in the 7 floor that is non smoking where people smoking next to us and we asked to change us to another room because we cannot stand the smell. The only good thing is that it's close to the shopping area. We are very disappointed and feel cheated.

  The electricity is not stable because jump around 3 times. the engineering also complaint on that. I may not stay in this hotel again in the future. Baiscally, it's a budget hotel and right in the center of the Shenzhen city. if you have no concern on the electricity, you can stay here because nearby is no convenient.
