• Ok value and most things work but no WOW feeling

  Rooms are clean and there is quite a variety on the breakfast buffet. Decor is "somewhat dated" and of the heavy Chinese-mimicing-American hotels sort; not a design/boutique hotel of the European/Scandinavian variety. But as long as they keep things clean, it's fine I guess.
  Main problem for me was that Wifi was not reliable enough. Each room has a router but they go up and down and are slow. Sometimes it was better in the lobby but don't bet on it. And after you start downloading something with quite high speeds (over VPN) they seem to throttle your connection after that. The more upper-scale hotels handle these things better.
  So if you're here for business and Wifi is important for you I'd go for another one. Oriental Ginza in Shenzhen, for example, had better wifi when I visited them in May 2015.
  To me the OCT area is also a bit too far from the Futian district, where I find there are a larger variety of cafés and restaurants. But the metro is just outside the hotel entrance so no big problem.

  Seaview O City Hotel is an excellent hotel for business traveler and family vacations.
  Probably my favorite hotel in Shenzhen, love the location. It was great for relaxing after work. Would definitely stay there again. Definitely enjoyed my time there.

  We arrived at the hotel a bit late after crossing the border from Hong Kong. The check in process was fairly smooth, went to the and surprisingly my room have beautiful view of downtown Shenzhen's. The room is clean and very comfortable, the bed is a bit stiff but I like it that way. On second floor is couple restaurants and hotel restaurant is buffet style and the price is readable, for breakfast is 70RMB had western and Chinese food. For Friday dinner (Sea food buffet) is 139RMB. The lobby had Bar, but very price for any type of drink's. Over all we are very happy to stay here again consider four star hotel and the price that we paid.

  Good Hotel with fantastic location for a few days businnes trip to Shenzhen,i was located in the new wings very well appointed room,clean and fast internet.
  Many tourist attraction near by no time to visit will next visit.

  Travelled here for business. Hotel is about 20 minutes from the Nanshan District. The room was clean however the toilet didn't flush properly, The staff is friendly but be prepared for little spoken english. Front door staff wear sailor uniforms. The bed in the room was very hard. The view was nice With Deep Bay in the background. Close to a few sights like Window of the World and the China Folk Culture Village. The restaurant was very good, and the buffet breakfast which is included in the price of some rooms was quite expansive
