  I'm not sure how to rate. They are reasonable but the booking agency didn't forward my reservation and back office hotel staff didn't know what to do. I was the one who had to call the phone number on my reservation form, that I gave the hotel, the booking agency then started to straighten it out immediately (took 30 minutes). The hotel initiatlly just gave me back my booking form and said there was nothing they could do for me. Makes me really wonder about management. The front desk people are good but the people in the back office reservations don't really know what they are doing. Another strange thing is that there are permanent offices set up in some of the rooms. As you pass by they have their doors open and cubicles set up. The furnishings are worn out (carpet needs to be replaced) but there is so much new building going on I'm thinking they are waiting to be bought out and demolished for the next new buidling going up. There is nothing wrong just check your reservations directly before trying to check in. Reasonable price for such a central location and the breakfast is OK. Check out was fine.

  This hotel is located at a very convenience center with all the access to restaurants, metro and mall at basement. You can go to the central Walk, they have some good restaurants.
  But for the room and breakfast is kind of over priced. The service of reception is poor, specially on check out.

  Excellent location but the cleanliness of the hotel to be improved. No coffee pack nor chocolate etc in the pantry but instead there is Chinese green tea or black tea, please bring your own coffee if you need it every morning (like me). Or you can simply go to the basement floor, there is McCafe.
  好處 -
  金中環的地點真是沒話可說, 在福田口岸坐2個站的地鐵便可到達, 而且從地鐵站便可乘電梯到大堂甚至房間樓層, 方便快捷。
  大堂在6樓, 很不好找, 但因事前我早看過網上留言, 所以也有了心理準備。
  酒店的負一樓層是地鐵及Food Court, 地下樓層又有便利店, 不用擔心餓肚子。
  大堂早餐選擇還可以(當然不要期望有太多西式選擇), 味道OK, Room service品質滿意。
  壞處 -
  我一進房間站立一會, 腿上便給一些東西狂叮幾口, 我認為那是跳蚤, 因為我實在看不見蚊子及其他昆蟲。每晚睡覺前在床上也同樣地感受到有些東西在叮你身體, 我住了四天三夜, 離開時四肢和身體都是紅色一點點, 明顯是蚤子之類肆虐吧....
  Shower Room的裝潢不敢恭維, 我實在是分不清楚淋浴間地上的是水垢還是地磚間的石屎, 總之感覺是令人不想踏進去淋浴, 幸好我每次出差也備有拖鞋和自己的毛巾, 這幾天才能夠安心淋浴。
  房間都沒有Vanity Kit, 綿花球那些請自備。

  Nicely Situated Hotel with Basement One having a polite Eatery and direct connections To;
  The MRT
  Underground Shopping Mall.
  Walking Underground all the Way to CoCo Park
  Walking to the Westerner's or Expat style Precinct if looking for a beer.
  Small Rooms, Not Much of A view in the internal Apartments (None).
  Power Sockets in my Small room were worn and hard to utilize
  Bathroom Was a little smelly, looks like paint over mouldy plasterboard.
  TV Reception was very Grainy and pour.
  Free Wi-Fi is available - you have to sign in every time to seek connection and is of a slow nature.
  Free Hard Internet connection is available and tends to also slow right if not, disconnect from time to time.
  Reception is on Floor 6 and are very accommodating and will speak English, or at least understand English.
  Signage is less than helpful with the services in this hotel for 'Local Knowledge" types that enjoy a Unisex Massage or similar Happy Evening.
  I found a Secret Garden on one of the Mezzanines, however had no idea what that was for and did not venture in.
  I enjoyed the adventure of seeking out all the Lifts (Heaps of these that are Interconnected by floors) that offered up many different disguised entry or exit points, which may have something to do with the Hotel's 4 floors of different 'entertainment' levels that are ever slightly advertised.
  Would I stay at the Golden Central Hotel again? Probably not - I do not think the Value for Money was in my favour.
  - it was my first ever trip to China, it won't be my last.

• Central location near Exhibition Center

  Great location for central Shenzhen. There is a walkway to the Exhibition Center subway station under the hotel. The exhibition center is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and there are several shopping centers close by. The hotel itself is okay with the suite a good size with an extra desk and large bed. We stayed on the 6th floor with was unfortunately under a restaurant. This was very noisy one night with the staff dragging furniture across the floor keeping us up. The hotel responded reasonably quickly to the issue.
  Like others have said English isn't widely spoken by staff which wasn't an issue for me as my girlfriend speaks Mandarin. Staff that do speak English are friendly and helpful.
