  We stayed here as a 2 night stop over before going over to Hong Kong so was a great location for that and the hotel provide a free shuttle bus service to the port too. It is easily walkable but with lots of luggage it was a bit of a trek.
  The hotel is in walking distance of loads of restaurants, we went to the main street with Italian and Indians etc because we wanted a change from Chinese but there was loads of choice around there.
  The hotel staff were really lovely, spoke very little English but at least tried to help, unlike many other hotels we've stayed at in China.
  The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
  Would be happy to stay at again!

• Near to Luohu causeway but nothing fantastic!

  If you are looking for a hotel which is near Luohu causeway, this is a hotel which you may consider. You can save some transport fund as the hotel provides free shuttle bus to ferry hotel guests to Luohu causeway in every 30 mins. But mind you, the shuttle bus can only take max. up to 9 pax. If any passengers have big luggage, there will be lesser seats available because they need space to put your luggage.
  I noticed that most hotels in China have cigarette smell including the lobby, lift and rooms. This hotel is the same. If you are a non-smoker, you may find it uncomfortable because everywhere you go in this hotel, you will smell it.
  Ok, the hotel is decent. For the price I paid, I find that it is still acceptable but do not expect for more. Breakfast is provided but nothing appetizing (for me). There are plenty of eateries around. No difficult to find food.
  I was a little upset during check-in. Apart from a tour group, there was no other individual guest besides myself. There were 4 - 5 staff at the counter but nobody acknowledged me. I went to approach one of staff who seem not so busy for check-in. He told me to wait for the entire tour group to clear before he could register me. wth? so many staff to handle a tour group???
  Finally, the tour group had taken their keys and gone. They still kept me waiting until I showed my frustration, one of the staff seem reluctantly processed my check-in. It took quite a while because the machine which he used to scan guest's passport was not functioning. He told me that I could check-in first and allow them to scan my passport later. *I deliberately did not remind them that they still have not scan my passport* True enough, they did not ask for my passport even I check-out. Haha...This shows how well the hotel's security works.
  Despite of all these, I have to give credit to the hotel staff who helped me to load my luggage to the shuttle bus on the last day and even offered umbrella to us as it was raining at that time.

• Nice budget hotel with very helpful staff

  I started living here last week when I first arrived in Shenzhen. The hotel is located in Luohu and is very close to the Luohu station. It took me just 10 minutes to reach by taxi. This is a good place for people who are new to the city as you have my food outlets near this hotel in case you do not wish to have at the hotel itself, like I who just eats vegetarian and preferably Indian food. So, for Indians you have Bollywood Cafe and another small shop which serves Indian tiffin box. The hotel is nice and comfortable, the rooms are adequate in size and have all required amenities. The lobby managers know some English and they are very helpful. One of the guys also helped me finding the ways to different locations I wanted to go. Very kind of him! The food is mainly non vegetarian and hence I do not have anything to say about it. I just had juice and fruits for breakfast and may be some bread with jam at times.

  If you're here for business this is a good place to stay. Good price and you can get three beds in one room, which is awesome if you're travelling as three people.
  Rooms are very comfortable and utilitarian.
  The bathroom needs improvement though because when you shower there is a lot of water all over the place since the shower/toilet are only separated by a flimsy shower curtain. There are no hooks in the bathroom so you have to keep your clothes on the toilet seat (ew).
  Other than that, it's very close to shops and you can have a great time walking around at night.

• Bed Bugs Alert! Smokers Haven

  Travel and Tour send us here for one night. In the lobby, NO SMOKING sign is posted but obviously there's a trace of smoke smell. Our room is located in 4th floor, smoking area greeted us upon opening the elevator door. All throughout the hallway smoke is everywhere. When we arrived in our room, our beds are not fixed so we thought that the room is not yet clean, went down to lobby to report but they said only the comforters are not fix and the rest of the room is already clean. So are they expecting us to fix the comforters ourselves? Room was okay, big enough for the three of us. After 2 days the two of us who shared the same bed that time developed bed bugsssss, as in a lot. Oh and by the way, did I mention the communication was terrible? But I have to mention despite of communication problem, staffs are helpful especially the guy who climb to the ceiling room to unlock our bathroom room that was locked from the inside. P.S.
