• Out of my expectation !!!

  Before I visit the hotel, I've read the reviews here and not much expectation for the night. However due to more budget for the trip so I just go for this hotel instead of the nearby Sheraton Hotel.
  Once I check in at the hotel, the staff were so friendly and check-in time was fast and even I got an upgrade for the room.
  Room is really spacious and no complaint for the room amenities at all. Big bath tube is my favourite.
  We took dinner at the Japanese restaurant, quality of food is great. Buffet breakfast at the cafe. Lots of choices and again come to normal buffet breakfast standard.
  All in all, this hotel is really out of my expectation. The hotel photos are exactly the same as the room. For improvement, i think they can offer a more strong wifi at room. As i can use it in my bed, but when i go for bathroom side, the wifi network is so weak and even no signal. Maybe one of the reason is the room is too large haha
  Highly recommend with discount price for this hotel.

• A Nice Seaside Hotel

  Stayed here for a night during the Easter holiday. The hotel is basically a luxury premises located at the seaside of the far eastern part of Shenzhen. The hotel consists of two buildings, Block A and Block B, both of them are single-aspect facing the sea with the same deluxe decorations. The room is clean and spacious. There are separated bath and shower areas, and each room has its own balcony.
  Buffet breakfast is served at the ground floor Palace Café. There are many choices, both western and Chinese dishes. For lunch and dinner, there is a 15% discount coupon for the western and Japanese restaurants in your room. But this coupon is not valid for set meals and some selected food. It is better to ask before you order.
  The spa and massage centre is located in the basement. When I tried to use it, I was told that their credit card machine was broken and the bill could not be charged to the room. They would only accept cash. This was quite frustrating.
  There is a garden and some small lakes located next to the hotel. The beach is also 2 minutes across the road. There are also a lot of restaurants offering good local food nearby. Given the promotional offers, I would recommend this hotel to others.

  This hotel is close to the Sheraton Dameisha.
  The breakfast offers a really good choice of Western and Chinese.
  The swimming pool (Indoor and outdoor) is also very good. Nevertheless, management should insist on people using head caps and taking a shower prior to swimming. Nice view on mountains from the outdoor swimming pool.
  Staff at the reception probablt could be more efficient and attentive.
  Room nicely equipped.
  For the rest, pleasant stay in this hotel

  Was here for business 3 years ago and decided to come back for a getaway with my wife this weekend. That was a mistake, should have booked the Sheraton instead. The only English speaking staff is behind the main desk, the rooms smell, a maintenance guy entered our room un-announced waterfall shower not working, carpet and bedding dirty, noise at night from neighbouring disco etc etc.
  Seriously run down and surely not worth 4 stars.

• Good facility but poor management

  We booked 2 nights Deluxe Sea view twin Room during the National Holiday but had to forego the 2nd nights charge when we decided to abandon the hotel after the 1st night stay.
  Why?
  1) Smell. My wife is in paricularly sensitive to the environement polution especially on smell. The first impression when entering the lift was a detergent smell which is not odorly friendly. Corridor leading to the rooms were also presence with a dampy smell which were resulted from a leakage of water from outside the glass, seaping into the carpet along the corridor.
  2) Cleanliness. When entered the room, we saw stain of liquid, not clear water, but suspected milky type of liquid.
  3) Service. We had to ask twice before the housekeeper appeared to have them cleaned up.
  4) Bed. Again, the detergent smell of the pillow case and bedspread makes us a sleepless night and my poor wife had to sleep at the balcony to avoid it.
  5) Noisy. Not a good day to travel to Dameisha as all sorts of people bypassing the hotel and created noise along the way.
  6) Food. So so... my son did not finish his Japanese food either.
  Last but not least, it does not warrant a 5 star at all. Maybe a good grade for 3 Star hotel.
  Never will come back again.
