Would I stay here again? Maybe.
This was a couples weekend to retreat from HK and relax by the pool.

The good:
One of the best rooms I've seen. Beautiful design with every comfort.
Great Views across the bay of the bridge and Cruise terminal etc
Excellent location close to Sea World's bars and restaurants and subway.
Lovely lobby with a piano player.
Great roof top bar.

The bad:
Pool - the bar was supposed to open at 11 or so. Didn't open all on Saturday, opened at 2pm on the Sunday.
Pool - not exclusive. Commercial learn to swim classes for the public ie lots of children in the pool.
Pool - Not exclusive - very crowded everyday with expats gathering that were clearly not hotel guest. Perhaps the Heath club members have access well?
Pool - the pool is in the shade after about 2pm.
Pool- the deck chairs are very uncomfortable and in demand as there isn't enough for the guest.
Shuttle bus - we asked if we could catch the shuttle to the Port when in the quue to check out. Then to be told no we cant as we didn't make a "booking."
Rooms - rooms are not well soundproofed.
Breakfast - great food but very, very long queues. Especially on the Sunday

If you just want a beautiful room and view this is a great hotel, but it is far from a relaxing getaway weekend.

Super location close to Subway and many bars and restaurant. Nice and quiet, clean rooms nicely designed. Hotel lobby and lobby lounge very specious so you don’t feel its crowded . Good restaurants , big but empty bar on top floor. Good english skills if the staff around the hotel. Will be back .

I always stay at the Hilton Nanhai Shekou when I am in town on business. It has the best service of any hotel I have stayed in. The beds are super comfortable with luxury linens, the bathrooms are spacious (they have cut down on the amenities though). The food service is expensive but wonderful. Overall it is one of my favorite hotels in China and maybe all of Asia. If you want 5 star service an luxury you will get it here

Near by many restaurants including one vessel quite be that now is a bars and restaurants
You can go to Hong Kong in only 30 min by ferry

I have been staying at this hotel since it opened 4 yers ago. Never had a less than a 10 plus experience. Staff like Yolanda, Aileen and Tank are amazing in their cheerful and positive attitude. They and others make your stay very joyful.
