Me and my colleague arrived at night to the hotel the receptionist was kind and take care with our reservation quickly. In this hotel there are smoking rooms, the smoking rooms and nonsmoking rooms placed on different floors. The room was big and clean. the breakfast was tasty and very rich. the hotel placed in middle of Shenzhen downtown very close to Lohu and Seg malls and restaurants (there is always Mcdonalds and Burger king nearby). the hotel has free WiFi, not in a great quality but good enough.

Located in the middle of bustling Luohu, the Subshine has access to everything from food to shopping to nightlife. The Muse nightclub right next to the hotel is a must visit.
The lobby is quite opulent and staff are very welcoming. The front desk has a forex counter which makes life easy. The hotel is supposed to be a favorite jaunt for Chinese millionaires and thus would be visibly evident by the fleet of ultra luxury cars parked outside.
Rooms are a bit dated and have a slight tobacco smell even in non smoking rooms. The pool and jacuzzi are excellent while the in house spa is also very good.
The breakfast buffet is fairly limited in comparison to other international chains and can be improved.
Overall, location is what makes this hotel an absolute must stay!

I stayed there every visit to shenzhen since 2004. The entrance is very luxurious and they still change all the floral decoration every day. Really a pc of art each time.
The room are OK, but little too dark. internet wifi is fast and working properly.
The breakfast has little choice compare to other hotel with same standard.

I last stayed at this hotel in 2003. I only stayed one night this trip so I was not able to check out many of the facilities. I stayed in room 905 and had a city view which composed of a view down Dongmen Road. Although the hotel is located near a busy intersection I could hear very little road noise in my room. The room had been renovated since I last stayed there but the bathroom could still use some more work. The mini-fridge kept drinks cold and the room was neat. The lobby staff were very helpful and attentive. I did not eat at the hotel and cannot comment on the food. My room cost a little over $100 including taxes which was about mid-range for the area. The location is near many restaurants and options for shopping. I would recommend it for anyone what wants to be where there are restaurants, shopping, and lots of activity.

stayed there for two weeks and the only mistake was not paying in advance for the excellent breakfast i enjoyed it for 5 days...the staff is very customer oriented and when my credit card was jammed in the machine next door the staff arranged for the bank to pick it up and provided me with an english and chinese spokesman and a driver to obtain it within 2 hours...location is known by everyone and a fine hotel
