Good location for Minsk World, Pedestrian Street and Oil Painting Village

Arrived here from Macau and hotel chosen because of it's (relative) proximity to Minsk World, Pedestrian Streets and the Oil Painting Village. The hotel is on top of a metro station and two major bus stops which is very convenient for getting around.
The hotel has large suite rooms so plenty of room for two. The rooms are clean but dated and as with most Chinese hotels, firm beds! There is a kitchenette but it has no crockery or cutlery!
It was good value and fine for a one night stay but I wouldn't recommend it for long stays if you like your creature comforts.

Pros: As described by other reviewers, you can get quite a large, modern, nicely furnished suite for a quite reasonable price here. Kitchen was included in my room. If, like me, you're a Westerner, you might be intrigued by the unusual design of the building with a massive internal atrium. The location might suit you.
Cons: If you don't like smoky rooms, you might not like it. Good luck finding one that doesn't smell of smoke. Apart from the fridge, the kitchen in the suite has no kitchen equipment. The rooms facing the main road have a fair bit of traffic noise for most of the day.

We have changed 3 rooms because air was extremely smoky- EVERYONE smokes in rooms here and same air is circulated. Make sure you request air cleaner.
Wifi didn't work well, as a business owner it was very tough. Fake plants everywhere... Using real plants would make this place a lot better.
Spacious room with super hard bed

We've stayed in Luxury Suite (60sqm) for 470 yuan /night. Spacious room with separate bedroom, 2 unit TVs, free WiFi, washer machine, microwave & kitchenette. But there's no utensils and not even a bowl provided. 500 yuan for deposit during check in.
About 250m walking distance to Shaibu Station and 700m to Dongmen Pedestrian street. Massage Centre at the 5th floor open until 12am. 30 Yuan tips still not enough to bring the smiles to their face. Seriously not worth going.
The hotel reception won't help us to get a taxi but their security guard was very helpful to show us direction, get a taxi, and give us recommendation. Well... apart of super hard beds, overall experience at the hotel is good.

Nice & cozy rooms, very spacious (although the sofa were a bit dusty). Location very close to Le Yuan Lu Seafood Street & Dongmen Pedestrian Street, only a few minutes walk. Definitely will come back here when I visit Shenzhen!
