  My last visit was like 5 years ago with my girlfriend, who is now my wife and we come back for the memories and to celebrate her birthday.
  I booked an executive room which allows us to attend the Happy Hour held in Macau Room. The choice of snack was limited and a bit disappointing ; however it was a delight to find hot western soup available which was pretty tasty. I think I got like 3 bowls of it.
  Staff members generally able to understand and speak English, which is a rare sight for hotels in China. They were able to bill us correctly without adding the unwelcomed (to guests) and profitable (to vendors) DCC to our bill. (Sheraton Futian FAILED on this)
  Hotels provide complimentary hourly shuttle bus for guests to Futian border checkpoint and Futian urban area, a great and convenient service. Buffet breakfast was good and the chef in charge of the egg station on 17/Oct was very friendly and helpful. The interior of lift was however quite dusty.
  Outdoor pool was great. Our room was at West Tower and we needed to pass through an outdoor podium to the swimming pool. Lighting was insufficient when we did so at about 21:45. When we are done swimming at 22:35, lighting on the podium was fully switched off. Since pool is supposed to open till 23:00, they should keep podium lighting on for the comfort and security of guests staying at West Tower that access the pool.
  Judging from number of room lights switched on when I swam, hotel occupancy was like less than 40%. I emailed and requested for a birthday cake (at my own costs if required) and room upgrade (if availability allows). Regrettably since I would check out on 17th and my wife’s birthday was 18th, it was turned down.

  Stayed over a number of years at this Hotel...Staff, check in , departures, all handld with professional efficiency--agreeable and service oriented--staff at all levels ---great food and services--best gym and pool in SZ--in a great area of the City a little apart from instant crowds on city streets--will return again

  We stayed there out of convince but as it turns out it was a remarkable stay.
  The rooms have these gianormous pillars in the corner rooms....just amazing.
  The breakfast was great and bordering upscale.
  All in all the stay was great!

  I travel a fair bit to Shenzhen on business and the location of this hotel is excellent;
  Firstly it is very close to highway ramp so you can rapidly travel to most of the industrial sections around Shenzhen and avoid the major traffic jams surrounding other hotels.
  Second, it is close to Futian Border cross to crossing over to HK for a meal is great.
  Third, the western food bistro has excellent steak!

  This is nice property, conveniently located near the border, Coco Park, and downtown Shenzhen. I stayed here for 2 nights in an Executive Suite (Room 1857) in the West Tower. The suite was massive and featured great views of the skyline. The bathroom was quite nice and modern, and the shower featured great water pressure.
  I did use their gym and pool as the latter is very nice and setup perfectly for laps. The breakfast on the 23rd floor is adequate and has all the necessities to get one going in the morning. My only complaint is the trek from the lobby to the West Tower - take elevator to 5th floor and then walk a long ways to cross to East Tower.
  Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the value of the property as its very inexpensive relative to what they offer.
