• Medium level hotel

  I visited this hotel inAugust 2015 for 2 nights.
  The check-in was very fast and friendly.
  The rooms are Quite small, but this is more often in Shanghai.
  Restaurant is medium level, they serve a buffet like most Chinese hotel restaurants, but I've had better before. Same for the breakfast.
  Most of the staff speaks bad English.
  There was 1 woman at check-out, whi spike fluently.
  Overall medium quality, but if you are doing business in this region, not a bad place to stay.

  Pros: The rooms have a very luxurious feel to it which made it very comfortable and relaxing for me. I was also able to sleep well because the beds were comfy and clean. The fitness centre and pool was nice as well.
  Cons: The view isn't as nice as many of the other hotels I've been to. It was also difficult to communicate with the staff as many of them did not understand english, however they were still kind and friendly. Additionally, I found the restaurant service quite poor. After a long day of touring Shanghai, my family wanted to come back to the hotel to have dinner. We were told earlier that the restaurant closes at 9 and we came at 8. When we sat down, the manager told us the chef had already gone home. He said we were too late and that Shanghai people eat dinner earlier. I found this annoying because hotels are supposed to accommodate foreigners, so not everyone is going to eat dinner early plus, they did not stay true to their word and had the chef leave earlier than 9.
  Besides the poor restaurant service, I had a great stay.

• Good business hotel but cold breakfast

  I stayed here on a business trip. The room was very nice - and had good air conditioning - always a bonus in Shanghai in the summer. The bathroom and shower was also very good - great water pressure, lots of hot water and plenty of space. The location was very convenient from the Pudong Airport (about 30 minutes drive) and easy access onto the highway for visiting cities outside of Shanghai like Suzhou. The hotel is also attached to a small shopping center and a Courfour grocery store - so plenty of shops around the hotel. My only complaint about this hotel was all the food was cold at breakfast - and I was up early - when the food should still be hot. It didn't look like they were using any food holding or warming at all on the breakfast buffet - even the congee was cold. It looked like a nice buffet - so hopefully they will fix the food temperatures in the future.

• For a short night sleep it was perfect

  As i arrived at 2:00 am and left at 8:00 i cannot say too much but the following. Bad was excellent, same the shower. breakfast was good and so the value for money. so if you have meeting nearby, it is a good place to stay in.

• A bit of a let down

  The room was comfortable, although it is one where the designers believe the toilet should be open to the rest of the room meaning there is no escaping any noises!
  The let down was the service in the restaurant which was very poor. The food wasn't fantastic but that isn't a deal breaker when visiting other countries, but being totally ignored is!
