Nice Spacious rooms
vsaluja2015
Mumbai (Bombay), India | Jul 27, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessIts nice hotel in Pudong, Big Spacious room and washroom, wifi is free. Lobby is small but the front end staff is very very courteous. There is a nice pizza joint near this hotel as well as a café restaurant with great fresh meals served next to it.

Good hotel, but needed to be refurbished
Adrian0902
Santiago, Chile | Oct 7, 2025 | Trip type: Friends getawayI have been long time sleeping there on weekend (one year). The rooms are really big, all them same size more or less. Last time I went, they were changing some of the carpet because they were really old. Also some of the furniture needed a change.
They have superior suite, but for me they are worse. Bigger bath, and more space around, but the sofa was less comfortable, and they had no armchair. They also lack a proper wardrobe.
Breakfast is good, with western and Chinese food, but on weekends and holidays you'd better go early, because local people has very good prices here and in the buffet they are like locusts -
A very comfortable & quality stay!

Chennai (Madras), India | Oct 6, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI traveled with a friend to Shanghai for a trade show and booked accommodation at the LDF All Suites Hotel. I read a lot of mixed reviews about this place from other travelers on TripAdvisor as well as other booking sites. I was a little skeptical initially, but I thought I'd take a chance considering the great deal I got (about 400USD for a Executive Suite room booked 45 days in advance). Also, this was comparatively closer to the Expo Center with the other hotels in the price budget and also rating.
Well we finally landed at the hotel. We got a room on the 21st floor and we were extremely happy with the room quality. It was a large room with a large bathroom. The room had a Kind Bed, a Seating Area, a balcony with a superb view from the 21st floor. I must make specific mention about the carpet and furnishings as I see other travelers have rated poor on this front. I presume they are restoring the rooms and furnishings and we got a room with a very clean carpet and the interiors and furnishings looked new and recently done up. The bathroom was huge and had a bath tub and a shower area.
The hotel is located in a place where there is no activity after sunset, like shopping malls, entertainment etc. However there is Sports Bar and KTV right below the hotel and we really enjoyed a quiet evening over beer at the bar. There are also a few massage centers just next to the hotel and they look upscale and classy. If you are looking for a fun evening and would like to be in the midst of some action, I think you could take a 15 mins taxi ride to Nanjing Road which I believe is about 7 Kms from LDF. The hotel is quite far from the Airport (about 40 Kms) and the Shanghai South Railway Station is about 22 Kms.
We did not try the breakfast or order any food at the hotel, so cant really comment on the food part. There is a street food joint run by a couple. They setup the joint every evening and we really relished the food there. If you stay at LDF, and if you are on a budget and need alternate options, or would just want to try local cuisine, I recommend you try this place out.. you will find them just outside the hotel on the road side after sunset.
Finally, the hotel staff were friendly and willing to help. Some of them were able to communicate in decent English as well.
Overall a luxurious stay and we had sound sleep all the three nights we stayed at the hotel. I would definitely stay again the next time I visit Shanghai. -

Biratnagar, null, Nepal | May 19, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessVery excellent size and well planned rooms with 4 pax sitting sofa plasma and excellent bathroom. But the furniture are old and carpet becomming damage too. Need immediate upgrade. High speed inroom free internet. Cable tv. Reading table. Good size closet area. Private Balcony. Good elegant lobby and cooperative staff. Centre of city. And best indian restaurant on walking distance.

Filthy carpets, very tired & worn out room.

Belper, United Kingdom | Mar 1, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessMy review title says it all. There is very little to praise and quite a lot to damn if I were to really let rip. The rooms must have been great when they were new & fresh, but now they are just very grubby and dirty. At breakfast the dining room thermostats were set on maximum and it was unbearably hot. I would turn the thermostats down, and then the staff would turn them back up again. Not just me, lots of clients commented on the heat at breakfast.
