  I had to layover in Shanghai due to some unforeseen circumstances and I'm really glad I chose to stay at The Qube. The best asset of the hotel would be the staff. Special mention to Mr Ivan De La Fuente Liano. He's such a professional and knowledgable staff who goes the extra mile for guests. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he's ever so cheerful and his smile could brighten anyone's day. The few times I got to interact with him, he would always be full of suggestions and eager to help and please. You would easily be mistaken to be in a Four Seansons or W hotel with the kind of service that he provides.
  He made my stay really enjoyable and I will definitely return to the hotel because staff like Ivan makes the stay so enjoyable and memorable. Kudos to him and and his excellent team.

  Stayed in this hotel again during my stay again and will again be staying there again and again. Management has changed so new restaurants seems to have been set up but then it is strange that the restaurants will closed at 8 or 9pm. Given that Europeans don't dine early I have to make sure we eat the moment we reached the hotel at 7 or else we will never get to eat in. The aircon is really hard to use so much that I either turn it on or switch it off every night before sleep, the buttons are already faded that you can't see so the instructions on the wall are useless. I was given a connecting room this time and it was horrible, the person next door bang so much as if he (I assumed it is a he given the force) wanted to ram down the door. And it happened twice during my stay, the 2nd one 2 days later was more subdued but the bang came just before I was going to fall asleep and it makes me sleepless a lot as I am worried that they managed to open it while I am sleeping. Also, although it was a non-smoking floor, non-smoking room, people are still smoking without care and the smoke just permeats into the room. My colleague had a hard time breathing on the last night as his room was full of cigarette smell after it came through the central ventilation. Overall I think this hotel needs to refurbished and overhaul a bit. Although unfortunately there isn't much choice for us working in that area of an alternative hotel. There is no wifi in the hotel room which is almost unheard of these days and I went to the spa to check out the massage and there was no one there for a while and it shared the same floor as the health club, to me that floor looks so dark and gloomy and spooky that I will not go back.

  Great hotel to stay at if you have a little time and need to be at the Pudong airport. Breakfast buffet is great. the beds are very comfortable. Cannot go wrong with this hotel. I need to type more to hit 200 words !!

  Hotel is located far from town, nothing much around the hotel. First thing my taxi driver noticed was there are no main doors on the hotel. Service at front desk is fairly slow and only staffed by 1. Room is good size, can see the Oriental Pearl Tower from my room although I came back too late to view the night view. Breakfast is ok, nothing fanciful. Stayed only 1 night so nothing much to say about the hotel.

  Spent four long nights here when it was hot and muggy outside. AC barely worked in the hotel and the rooms. Hotel clerk didn't speak English, and the bed was as hard as a wooden board. The rug was stained, and the curtains smelled bad. Won't stay here again.
