  As we did conference in the hotel I had no option and was ready to live with a view on industrial zone (industrial romantic style:). Overall hotel service is nice, roomservice menu includes some dishes of european food (which I ate there as dont like local food) - looks Ive took all stock of mozarella with my caprese salads orders :)
  Rooms are big enough, with good and modern design but with an Asian hints - which I do appreciate.
  Overall hotel is comfortable business hotel. Breakfasts were good with different kind of food and nice service.
  Most of all I liked nice waitress in lobby bar, who saved me by good cappuchino (it was good for China, really) - as jetlag and crazy agenda were killers for me. Nice place in Shanghai, but if you want to have a city view - chose other hotel.

  I love, love, love this hotel. The rooms are amazing. There is a Porsche shuttle service. The breakfast is good - eat outdoors in the garden.
  The rooms are more than comfortable. Fantastic rain showers, hidden tv built in behind the bathroom mirror so that you can watch the news while getting ready in the morning, and a great soaking tub with large windows overlooking the city.
  The only downside is temporary. The Pilot Free Trade Zone is still an up and coming area. You have to walk a ways to get to a non-hotel restaurant. Once the area is more developed, I can easily see this being a fav hotel in Shanghai.

  I travel extensively on business and stay at many hotels. I have just spent 3 days at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a very comfortable and luxurious hotel, at a very fair price, which you can no longer say about hotels closer to the city, There were 3-4 occassions where I needed service, and my expectiations where constantly exceeded. They also allowed me to have a very late checkout, which made my departure day much more comfortable. I was able to use the well equipped gym and pool, which are both excellent.
  The breakfast is not as extensive as in some of the other hotels (limited fresh fruit, bread and juice selections), but considering what you pay, it is more than adequate.
  Yes, I agree that the distance to the city would not make it ideal for tourists, but for a quiet business hotel, near the free trade zone, it is hard to beat!

  If you have business on this side of Shanghai an ideal base. Good staff, spacious rooms. Foyer large with many seating arrangements they one can use for business meetings or discussions. Close to bonded area. Not a convenient hotel if you are more interested in Shanghai city life, shopping or restaurants.

  The location is bad, very very very far from the city, but I like the decoration, it's luxury. The door man never show up everytime I arrived the hotel. The show up rate is around 5% and help rate is 0%. The service doesn't meet my expectation to Sheraton. BTW, if you are platinum member, the service and beverage/snacks in the executive lounge is excellent. Except club lounge, everything is so so. If you liked to taste sheraton with good rate, choose here.
