Good Hotel with multiple restaurant, baquet, and convention facilities
Robert R
Qingdao, China | Apr 11, 2025 | Trip type: CouplesThe OneHome yalong Hotel has a number of art works in a fashionable lobby area. At least one English speaking attendant is on duty at the check-in at all times I used the check-in. There are 4 restaurants icluding two Chinese, one hot pot, and one Japanese Teppanyaki style restaurant.
The rooms are reasonably large but the shower was small. They has big fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. There was black and green tea but no coffee. The bed was large and comfortable. The room was clean but there was a large cigarrette burn and a stain on the carpet.
They have an internet cable beside the desk, if you want a WIFI modem, the check-in desk will send one up to your room. The reviewer who said there is no internet should read the information attached to the internet cable in two languages before inaccurately reviewing.
The view frowm the 16th floor had both the new buildings near the Bund and the Oriental Pearl on the skyline. It was quiet.
All things considered, the hotel was at least as good or better than hotels I have stayed in in the US that cost more or the same.
Subway access is available with a 7 or 8 inute walk. The Hunan restaurant at the corner is excellent. -
Not bad

Jun 14, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessWe stayed 4 Nights in this hotel. Rooms are not as spacious as other hotels in China ( 4star). Location is OK there are lot of small shops near by for Fruits, Cola etc. Breakfast was served on second floor. Mainly Chinese food served in the breakfast, very limited western/ continental food available. Need to wait for elevator for almost 5-10 minutes every time you come to hotel or go out of you room. Just average hotel to stay.

Modern and Convenient Hotel

Brampton, Canada | Dec 12, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessI stayed here during a Semicon Show I attended in Shanghai. It was a few stops away by train to THE BUND. I find the interiors of the hotel as well as the rooms to be modern and comfortable.
Would definitely stay here again. -
Awful. No good.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Jul 17, 2025 | Trip type: FamilyStayed here because of its good reviews on another site. First room we received had never been cleaned. Hair and many stains on the floor, disgusting couches, filthy bathroom floor, and peeling drywall. We informed the front desk and were told that we could have it cleaned then and there or wait the following day. That was not acceptable and they eventually showed us another room. It appeared to be much cleaner, but still not the expected quality from the pictures and the reviews.
Floors were still stained but at least vacuumed and the refrigerator wasn't plugged in. One of the beds was a pad covering what seemed to be a wooden box. We took it. After we got back to the room on our second day, we found cards for call girls in our hotel room door and noticed them at other rooms as well. In addition, we found disgusting stains on the couch and filthy socks in the large closet on our way out.
Checked out early because of the cleanliness. -

Guangzhou, China | Feb 2, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThe room was average. On arrival it is very , very cold.
Could not find where the internet cable was, (no wifi - but this is a business room)
I telephoned and was told the internet cable is behind the TV, - you have to unplug the internet cable from the tv and plug it into your computer to use it. The internet was not good very intermittent, but they do nothing about it - remember this is a business room - so I need the internet.
Then the room is very cold, cannot get the air conditioning to work, room service arrive, and they press a few buttons and the air -conditioning begins to work, they do not explain how to make changes to the air-conditioning, they just leave. The air -conditioning is VERY noisy , impossible to sleep, but also impossible to sleep because the room is cold if i turn it off, their answer is to send another small blanket - how pathetic!
In the kitchen area, none of the lights work...
hey should check the quality of the room BEFORE the guest checks in, my answer is to check out of this hotel and find a better one.
I would avoid this hotel, the service is bad, no-one cares about the guest. The room is average, many things do not work.
Bad , bad, bad experience!
