Bed and Breakfast ?
hal S
Sep 2, 2025 | Trip type: Solo travelCan't locate my booking. Finally. got an IBIS room, consistent and clean. Hotel does not have enough bath towels at 5 p.m., 1 per room... deliveries no arrive yet, was told.
Next day's breakfast, my advise . . . if you see a tour group having breakfast, turn around and return later, And only AFTER the Hotel had REPLENISHED the already poor 'better than nothing' breakfast.
No Starbucks or alternatives nearby. Good thing the Subway is 3 minutes walk away and you can get downtown fairly quickly. -

The room is super super small, not as the photos they put in internet. The staffs are not friendly, the wifi connection at room were terible.
I booked this place at an internet based booking website and they wrote it this is a 4 star hotel, but accoring to people there and my experince this is just a HOSTEL!

Ibis expo - ver shabby hotel
Anup58
Bengaluru (Bangalore), India | Sep 12, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessVery bad experience. Hotel staff are lying in the hallway and smoking. The hallway is smelling of smoke. Taxi drivers acting as touts ovcupy the chairs near the lobby. The breakfast is only meant for chinese as there is nothing vegetarian for one to eat. Rooms are very small and hotel location is isolated. I think this hotel is not meant for foreigners like me and only good for local chinese

Poor experience in a dismal hotel

Taipei | Sep 2, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessWe were recommended this hotel by exhibition promoters but I simply cannot recommend this to other travellers. Aside from a reasonable price and beating a few metro stops away from the World Expo there is little to love here! Staff upon arrival were not pleasant or efficient. Cleanliness and ambiance are poor by Ibis standards with dark musty smelling hallways. The bathroom is also smelly and cleanliness of the towels and sink questionable. The noise from the street plus night club next door is also excessive. Finally, my colleague got sick eating the breakfast. I'm just lucky to stay for one night.

A disgrace in customer service

Kathmandu, Nepal | Aug 18, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessThis was my first time in china. To be on a safe side i went with ibis which is known world wide. My flight was delayed. I had booking which was already paid for at ibis. when i reached the hotel they said that they didn't have any rooms. they had my reservation but didn't have any room. Finally after an hour long discussion they gave me a room. they room was stinking and i simply couldn't stay in the room for more than a minute. I just left the property and booked another hotel online. it was late in the night and raining. I have been avoiding ibis ever since this incident.
