Kawasaki | Sep 21, 2025 | Trip type: BusinessGardenview Hotel Shanghai is located on east side in Shanghai city. The newly developed area is for mainly industrial use. There are many factories and buildings for technical purpose. The area is close to Pudong International Airport, but is very far from not only midtown Shanghai but also local shopping streets. The hotel is built as modern & western style and the clerks for reception and restaurant are working as Chinese style.

浦东新区の张江高科地域のはずれにあるホテル 訪問先が近ければ非常に便利だと思います 建物は比較的新しく ハード面は故障等がなければ不自由は感じないと思います 不具合があって何か直してほしいとか 個人的に何か特別のリクエストが必要な場合など ソフト面では中国語の語学力と中国文化に根ざした行動力が必要になると思います 敷地内にファミリーマートがありますので 郊外のB&Bと考えればリーズナブルな滞在が可能です -

Airport and far away from any Metro station; Arrival late night and 2 ladies from reception desk only were able to speak a little bit of English language; my request for collection of airport has not been noticed so I had to take a taxi; cleanliness and room was acceptable but not 5* quality; acceptable pricing according to hotel quality; all in all accepotable.

This hotel was not a convenience airport hotel, and I don't think it is a good business hotel either. They don't provided airport shuttle bus at all. It take about 20 mins from airport to Gardenview Hotel by taxi through highway. It spend about 70RMB(including the highway fee) each way. They need my 300RMB deposit when I check in, even I already paid with my credit card in advance. They talk about extra spending.There is nothing around the hotel, no restaurants, no shops. You have to eat in the hotel. I don't know the lunch and dinner there. The breakfast was not good, not a lot choose either. The room was ok. But, they only provided bodywash and shampoo in the bathroom, no hair conditional, no body lotion. My shower room can't close tight. Water came out when I took a shower. The wifi only work in the lobby, 0 signal in room. Because I got a good price with breakfast a night, and my next day flight was in the afternoon, I tried it. I had to say that was very bad choose. Sorry, I have to say: I will not recommend Gardenview Hotel to anyone.
