Bathroom very nice, but the room had a strange smell of humidity. The breakfast has only a very small selection of western Food, but a large selection of Chinese breakfast.

The hall is lined with antique jade which will take a little while to examine as the carvings are exquisite. You are greeted with a friendly smile and efficiency checked in. The lifts are almost art deco in style and polished to a high finish. My room was wonderful. It had plenty of space for everything the weried traveller needs. Two large chairs in a small vienete, Two double beds, writing desk, and bar/eating area. There is tea and coffee. And if you need anything the staff will be more than happy to get if for you. There have been comments in previous reports about the wifi. Yes it is slow and stop. But there is much more to Shanghai than internet service. Outside of the room there are two large seating areas that also have a fish pond to add to the tranquility of your stay. Its great for meeting fellow business travelers our just to sit whilst contemplating the days events.

The options of restaurant, the amenities at the room (specially Japanese Styled) are below expectation. The wifi works goood. the rooms are small and improperly lit. Overall the ambience and energy level at the place is low.
