  nos costo encontrar el lugar ya que la numeracion no coincidia con lo que se suponia era el hotel, finalmente lo encontramos, se entra por un hotel desde la esquina pero no es ahi, hay q seguir de largo y se entra por un pasillo,donde hay un ascensor, hay q dirigirse al 5° piso donde esta la oficina donde se busca la llave y se hace el check in.La habitacion esta dividida en dos plantas , en la inferior tiene una cama matrimonial con placard grande y la cocina equipada con vasos y tazas de distintos juegos.La vajilla esta incompleta , no se puede cocinar mucho Tenia microondas y una hornalla electrica Arriba tiene dos colchones de dos plazas en el piso
  Tiene ventanales amplios pero q estaban sucios de varios semanas o meses que no se limpiaban. Se veia el amanecer y tiene una linda vista a pesar del vidrio, se ve el rio y el sol se refleja
  La ropa de cama estaba limpia , habia lavaropa pero no funcionaba
  El subte esta a varias cuadras, pero la ubicacion es buena porque se llega caminando a el bund, y otros sitios de interes

  This hotel is located in an office building very close to the metro station on the metro line to both airports and the bullet train. The rates for this hotel are very low for a room with four beds (we were 2 adults and 2 children). There is a close by shopping mall so it's very convenient. The down part is that the room is small and quite old/badly maintained although it was clean and had WIFI. We try to ask to a room that isn't facing the metro but we got one that do. Eventually the noise wasn't so bad because there weren't much trains ant night. We were there for one night so it worked for us. If you're planning a long stay and planning to be much in the room so it's not for you. If you don't expect much and need just a place to sleep it's good value for your money.
  In the basement you have a laundry in case you need the service.

  The Mayson Apartment Hotel is a "typical" Chinese experience. My recommendation is for persons who have experience with Asia it's a reasonable accomodation at a good location. For travellers who don't know Asia it's maybe a little rough for starting.
  The location at Zhongshan Park is very good - subway station close with three main lines, a huge shopping center (Cloud Nine) where you have all kind of shops - from supermarket, H&M to countless restaurants and food options, Starbucks, a park, easy to get taxis, etc. Leavs really no wishes open, and it's an area where many foreigners live.
  The room itsself is not too big, has a small kitchen with fridge and a tiny (Chinese) washing machine. The internet works with LAN-cable and there is a small desk. Don't expect a perfect clean room or soft bed or pillows, but they change the towels every day. The windows don't seal off too much noise and it's an area with 24 hours traffic.
  The reception is nearly impossible to find - there is another hotel in the building and the reception there doesn't tell you there is another one on the 13th floor. The ladies don't speak English, but they have a contact person they can call if really necessary.
  It is perfect if you don't spent much time in your hotel room and want to enjoy Shanghai from a good location for a reasonable price for the area. But be prepared for a Chinese experience!

  Location is very convenient: close to subway for all main sites anc close to a large mall with a lot of good restaurant and stores.
  Hotel is a little bit hard to find but just cross the street in front of subway exit 7 and enter the second building on your left , upstairs. Reception is in room 1310 !
  BUT: avoid room 2421 as it is very terrible. It is
  - Dirty (carpet floor around bed was disgusting, dust in each corner, shower leakage...). But bed clothes and towels are clean and towels are changed every day.
  - Noisy: You can hear the trains until midnight as if you were in the station
  - Luminous: Curtain are not opaque enough and sunrise is quite early (maybe 5 AM)
  - Not well equiped: no microwave oven, few mugs that we had to clean before use, no kitchen ustensile, so don't expect to cook.
  - Staff has a very limited english level
  Overall good enough to sleep if you don't look for comfort and if you are tired enough of your sightseeing day to fall asleep in any condition.

  Other than the few conveniences of being located across from the underground, a couple of malls & a few convenience shops , that is a it has going for the accomodation. Firstly if you have more than an average size luggage , you need to either lug it all the way to the 2 nd level by stairs or try to locate the car park lift to 2 nd level and then walk for another 30ft to the " check in " area on the 13th floor. The building seems to be co shared by 3 hotel operators , so all very confusing. The standard of accomodation is below average , everything is probably dated 5-7 years ago ....sigh. Will not be returning to this operator .
