• Good location, good room

  Good location and a good tidy, clean, modern room with a comfy bed. There's a good breakfast buffet too. Staff were helpful and spoke enough English to help us.
  Just out of the hotel front door turn left and on the right there are some neat restaurants and coffee shops.

  stayed there in a weekend,and the location of hotel is very convenient,ten minutes walk you can get down to shopping areas xvjiahui with big shopping malls and department stores. i think will be back soon.

  Great location in a quite street but just one block down to subway and department store. Nice restaurants and coffee shop just around corner.
  Room is clean and wide. Just the shower space is bit funny without shelter.
  Here definitely will become my spots in Shanghai!

  I stayed here for a few days to attend a conference at Shanghai Jiao Tong University which was pretty close by (walking distance).
  The room was very large and clean. There's even a spacious work area which was a major plus as I had emails to reply to every evening. There is wifi access at no extra cost but speeds are not fast, but sufficient for emails and browsing.
  The buffet style breakfast catered for Chinese and non-Chinese tastes (croissants, coffee, sausages etc.)
  And although this hotel is located just off the main road, it is very conveniently located to many shopping centres - there are at least 4 within 5 to 10 minutes walk away - catering for all of your shopping needs, from clothes, shoes, perfumes, high-end watches, electronics etc. There is a 24 hour McDonald's located a 10 minute walk away. There are also numerous restaurants and fast food outlets within the shopping centres. There is also an English style pub within a 5 minute walk away - the Park Tavern, with many of the more famous and stronger beers. Walk a bit further and there are many more bars and nightclubs. I would therefore highly rate this hotel location wise.
  I would echo an earlier review and say that I would not hesitate to stay here again if I am ever in Shanghai again.

  I liked his Hotel as it was not too commercial nor ordinary, I found it to be just right as it is well located within walking distance to the Oriental Shopping mall and the University. The rooms are spacious and clean. The WiFi intermittent but gets better after hours. There was always a member of staff on duty on the front desk who could speak English which is essential in China. The Breakfast was a mixture of Chinese and English cuisines so it was very nice. The Hotel is near the famous expatriate hung out bar scene so easy to get a beer within the neighborhood. I would not hesitate to stay at the Hotel again.
