  stayed there on a business tour fr 2 night the rooms are ok bathroom dirty very slow WI FI in room breakfast which is expensive safety is also a concern as there is no security person fr service apartment area

  Great location in the down town area in Shanghai, handy to the metro station and shops. It's basic, small but fully furnished, it does provide everything you need. Free internet, washing machine and kitchen facilities are very handy

  My friend and I spent 7 nights in one of the apartments of this building. The reception was actually at the 16th floor, where one of the rooms was actually used as an office. The people there spoke quite a nice English (... for Chinese standards....) and we were able to communicate without any problems.
  The room we rented was wide and comfortable, but not very clean: the floor was actually a bit dirty and the sheets and pillows of the bed were full of hair belonging to someone else... Weird... Apart from that, it offered all the facilities and tools you needed to stay; the toilet was big enough for two and the towels were changed every day. Unfortunately, that didn't happen for the sheets, which remained the same for all our stay.
  They provided us with a daily housekeeping and the service was included as an extra fee of 15% on the overall price, which we considered quite excessive for the actual service they provided.
  The first days the room was very hot and we were forced to turn the air conditioning on; the situation got better in the last days of the week, also due to the changing weather temperature. Very quiet at night, too.
  The hotel was in a very good place, right next to the Jing'an Temple metro station (just 300m away), but it was not so easy to find the first day we arrived, only because the building was a little smaller compared to the ones surrounding it. Just look for the old Paramount Cinema and you will find a street on the left that will lead you to the hotel (be sure to remember its photo in order to recognize it once you see it). The Chinese people leaving near there were very kind, but almost unreliable when we asked for directions... even the police wasn't able to help us finding the hotel!
  After all, we had a nice time in this hotel.

  Well, dont expect too much from the property when it comes to rooms...they are old and need renovation however the best part of staying there is location, it is simply perfect: close to many dining outlets, famous Jingan temple, luxurious shopping. It is easy to travel around the city from this property too. So, if you are ready for 2-3 stars room and 5 star location is all you care about this place is for you. The staff is friendly and helpful too. So, except the room standard my overal impression is good. I would stay there again.
