The experience of staying in intercontinental hotel is as good as ever. The hotel’s location is quite nice with convenient metro stations, and it’s close to Lu Jia Zui for business purpose. There were also a lot of local food restaurants around there.

As the IHG lover, I choose this IC as my stays during my holiday in Shanghai. The rate is very good for this level of hotel and the room is clean and spacious. Their staffs are all very nice and helpful especially the doorman and the front desk. The location is at heart of business center and shopping district and close to famous attractions like the pearl tower. In general, this hotel is very valuable for the money and I recommend you to choose it

Perfect location to everything. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance and it is easy to travel to other parts of shanghai as well. Room is nice and clean. Service is excellent. if I have a chance to go to Shanghai, i will definitely choose this hotel again.

Arriving in the evening after twelve hour flight into hot and humid Shanghai had affected my initial impression of the hotel, which appeared to be a bit worn and the room had an odor, probably after the cleaning. But fortunately, the next 7 days of my stay in the hotel had reassured me in its highest quality standard. The room, the service and the decor are really nice, but what stands out is the food, especially the morning buffets, which are out of this world. The hotel also serves the evening buffets, but you have to make a reservation in advance to get in. The location of the hotel is very convenient, you can walk to Shanghai Tower about 25 min, or take a metro in a 4 min walk.

This is a hotel that is very aware about the value of service to their guests. Their attentiveness was impressive. The hotel is among the older ones in their chain but the standard is still good. The room was nice with a separate table that made it possible to work on the computer. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is also nice and clean. The only bad thing about the room, but this I have experienced many places in China, is that sometimes there is bad smell coming out of the drains. Wi-fi works well, there is also a fitness center and swimming pool in the building, a bar and restaurants. Location is good, fairly close to the metro and not so far from the bund - you can actually walk there if you like to walk - the view/skyline is spectacular (30 minutes or so...).
