  We had 3 nights here as part of a small group trip round China. It has a pretty grand entrance (if a bit bare - a few more chairs would be a good idea) but despite having smoking and none smoking floors, my main problem with the place was the constant faint smell of cigarette smoke. My room was clean and the bed very comfy but that smell lingered and tainted my experience. The breakfast offered a good deal of variety and the place did offer a lobby bar but it lacked atmosphere - and customers! All in all the hotel's location is its saving grace' making it an 'ok' option.

  We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour. The room was average size, not large but plenty adequate for us. It was clean with a bathroom with both shower and tub. The breakfast featured a good variety of American and Chinese food. The only issues we had with the hotel was a limited seating during a busy breakfast period, food during breakfast that was only warm, not hot as we would expect and there was poor service in the restaurant during our one evening meal. There is a subway located near the hotel and some of the more adventurous people rode that and explored the other parts of the city. We would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Shanghai.

  Because this city is more expensive in general, it was a good place overall. The rooms were a decent size and the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub. The shower leaked and the water temp was inconsistent. Was on the 19th floor so I am not sure if that is the same across the hotel. The location was pretty good though. A subway station is close by and from there you can get anywhere. Loved this city, it is huge but efficient and the waterfront is stunning at night. A highlight of our trip.

  I was in Shanghai on a Business trip and this hotel was selected as convenient to the office.
  Reception was efficient and the English was good. Check-in went without issues and payments and changes were efficiently handled.
  The room was quiet, large and well appointed with bar fridge and work desk. Housekeeping was efficient and very helpful. The breakfast was both western and Asian and the service was good. The location was convenient to the Metro and there is a good choice of restaurants in the area. There is also a great coffee shop across the road (MAANCAT Cafe) with a huge menu of western and local foods and VERY good coffee.
  The concierge has a list of sightseeing places and helpful map of getting to and using the Metro.
  All in all a good place to stay.

  I thought this hotel was very nice. The rooms are extremely small but we just sleep there so we did not care. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. They have some cute little shops in the hotel but I wouldn't buy as you can find much better deals. The wi fi was eh just ok. SOmetimes I could get on sometimes I could not. I would stay again if the price was right. I di not like the food. It was not bad but breakfast seemed unorganized and like they did not have enough help or space. It was hard finding a seat and when you did the table was not clear. There seemed not a lot of choices to eat or all of it was eaten and not replenished quick enough.
