  quite new large Hotel in a highrise (Floor 25-53). Convenient location right beside subway Line 2, about 20min from Bund or hongqiang airport. Direct access to a huge shopping mall (Mall is upper medium level) with many restaurants and a big Carefour supermarket.
  Next to a nice city park
  Deco ok, good business hotel standard, elegant modern. Checkin fast and efficient, luggage handling rather slow. Check-out very fast. Friendly, professional reception. Good, basic, small fitness center, well maintained. Clean and large indoor pool, shower and sauna facilities good size and clean, well maintained. Bit difficult access as must use separate public elevator, but they provide lockers.
  Room ok size, clean. Big, but old TV, few channels (China standard).
  Bathroom good, complete fittings, good amenities, well maintained and clean. Good Towels. Bed comfy, large, may pillows. Aircondition good and not noisy.
  Large Breakfast, good quality.
  WiFi ok, free if Marriot member
  Roomservice overpriced, use restaurants next door better

  As many of the reviewers have pointed out, Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park is a great business hotel in terms of ambience, location, service, room décor and comfort. The hotel staff are proactive, efficient and – even more importantly – always smiling!
  A strong selling point is the convenient access to the Metro (line no.2, which also connects you to Pudong Airport). A definite plus considering how difficult it can be to get a taxi on a rainy day in one of the world’s most populous cities.
  Yes, the breakfast spread is sumptuous, made all the more enjoyable by the fantastic view of Shanghai from the 26th floor of the building. On a clear day, you can enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Pudong high rises. The 25-metre indoor pool was also a real treat for an avid lap swimmer like me. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable stay.
  However, the hotel has won my loyalty not just for the above reasons. I will not go into details and will just say that what impressed me the most was that the current general manager honoured a promise made four years ago by a different manager. To me, that was service above and beyond all expectations.
  The only negative comment I have is that my in-room wifi was unstable. I couldn’t get a stable connection on my mobile phone throughout my stay. But the wired internet connection (for my laptop) was fast and trouble-free.

  I have stayed here for the last 4 years. The staff is friendly and most courteous. The location is ideal for my business and the rates are reasonable. They have breakfast on the top level, and the views are fantastic! I highly recommend it!

  This place was a great choice for a business stay and well connected to the Central Business District and the Public Transport. You have a huge mall and Subway line 2 connections from the Hotel itself.
  The Staff was courteous and could speak good English. I stayed on the 49th floor. The views from the Hotel rooms were amazing and well equipped for business travelers.
  The Breakfast buffet was great with large spread from different cuisines.
