• Awesome Design, small room

  The hotel has an awesome Chinese traditional design, but it makes the lobby too dark. The design of the room is mixed modern and Chinese traditional, but it is kind of small. Their are a lot of food for breakfast, but there are too many western food in stead of Chinese food! It will be great if there are more Chinese food at the breakfast!

  If you are visiting a conference or expo at the nearby Shanghai Expo, then this is an excellent choice. Not cheap but excellent quality rooms, service and food choices.
  Pros
  - Spacious and high quality stylish rooms. Felt quite new.
  - Location is perfect for the expo
  - A couple of excellent restaurants (both the breakfast in the lobby and the Japanese on second floor were good choices)
  - Excellent lobby for meetings
  - Sits right above a subway station so convenient for those needing public transport
  Cons
  - Location is not great if you are not going to the Expo
  - Price was really quite high for what you got, even though good quality
  - There was always a long wait for spots in the lobby lounge for coffee and drinks

• Perfect business hotel to visit exhibition

  Despite of high price line, this hotel is perfect to visit Shanghai New Int'l Exhibition Center (which is the biggest and the most frequently used). SNIE is located 5 mins walking distance, 2 big malls are near than SNIE also there are numerous & carious cuisine local restaurants for residents within 5 mins walking distance. One more point is subway station is directly connected to hotel. You may frequently use subway system, because this city is famous for heavy traffic.
  If you use Pudong airport use Maglev and take taxi. 25 mins is enough to reach there.

• Convenient for Exhibition visitors

  Stayed at this hotel from Aug 30 for 3 nights on a business trip. The only reason for staying in this hotel was because it is opposite to Exhibition grounds and after a long day at the Exhibition, you can walk back to the hotel. This hotel has maintained the good reputation of the chain. Rooms are biggish, clean and the bathroom has all the facilities. Personally I prefer wooden floors over carpeted ones and that is what the room had. Good spread at the buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Staff was friendly & all spoke tolerable English. Expensive, but convenient, if you have business at the Exhibition
  otherwise doesn't make sense to stay here !

  I have stayed in this hotel during the exhibition week and that was the right choice when you just need to step out where the center was in front of you. Need to say this hotel has a luxury designation which will bring you the first huge impression. Staff was so nice with their fresh smile as always when you enter the hotel to reception desk. I was really impressed and for sure will come back.
